Title: 2009/10 Squad Numbers
Post by: STFC_Gazza on Friday, July 24, 2009, 08:23:29
Ok they haven't been released yet but there will be a thread when they are so will start it now as I know a new squad number.

J.P McGovern is now Number 7.

o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o. Should have made it a sweep-stake competition whereby everyone guesses what the numbers will be. I would set it up, but i quite frankly can't be bothered.

We need to sign some strikers first.

Billy Paynter is not a number 9.

I don't think you get what I meant.

I was saying Billy Paynter isn't good enough to wear the number 9 shirt.

I don't think you can underestimate his contribution towards Simon Cox's success at Swindon. If Wilson can find a similar player that can work alongside Paynter we'll be oooooookay.

I disagree, Paynter was one of our better players after DW arrived.
