Swindon's Hasney Aljofree and Lee Peacock are unlikely to return to action "for months" http://news.bbc.co.uk/go/rss/-/sport1/hi/football/teams/s/swindon_town/8165597.stm Title: Re: BBC News: Swindon suffer double injury blow Post by: DV on Thursday, July 23, 2009, 17:08:14 meh.

Title: Re: BBC News: Swindon suffer double injury blow Post by: michael on Thursday, July 23, 2009, 22:21:41 Good news on big Scotty Cuthbert being on the mend.
Looking forward to seeing this kid play in the famous white and blue. Title: Re: BBC News: Swindon suffer double injury blow Post by: Don Rogers Shop on Thursday, July 23, 2009, 22:29:18 Me too michael. Be interesting to see where he plays
Title: Re: BBC News: Swindon suffer double injury blow Post by: michael on Thursday, July 23, 2009, 22:34:53 I think he'll start off at right back then eventually move inside to centre half.
To be honest what we really miss is a defender who can contribute 5+ goals a season, mostly coming from corners. Hopefully being 6"2 he can do that for us. Though thinking about it, Macca apart, we will have a team of 6 footers next season. Not a bad thing to have in League 1 really is it? Title: Re: BBC News: Swindon suffer double injury blow Post by: wiggy on Thursday, July 23, 2009, 22:37:24 Eh - Timlin, Easton and JPM are never 6 feet tall are they?
Title: Re: BBC News: Swindon suffer double injury blow Post by: michael on Thursday, July 23, 2009, 22:40:59 No they are not, you are right.
They are all about my height, which is 5ft 10. And let me tell you that I am ruddy awful at football. Or any sport for that matter. Hopefully we'll play all our 6ft+ players against Gillingham. Title: Re: BBC News: Swindon suffer double injury blow Post by: Nemo on Thursday, July 23, 2009, 22:41:18 Easton 5' 10
JPM 5' 8 Timlin 5' 8 Title: Re: BBC News: Swindon suffer double injury blow Post by: wiggy on Thursday, July 23, 2009, 22:46:47 I reckon Phil Smith is under 6 feet as well.
Add in Marshall and Macca and we could still field a really short side. Title: Re: BBC News: Swindon suffer double injury blow Post by: jayohaitchenn on Friday, July 24, 2009, 08:59:06 I've seen Phil Smith in town quite a few times. He is much bigger than you think - He towers over me and is built like a proverbial.
Title: Re: BBC News: Swindon suffer double injury blow Post by: Peter Venkman on Friday, July 24, 2009, 09:04:30 Phil Smith is over 6 foot, maybe 6' 1 or 6' 2, hes a big old unit, he just looks small on the pitch.
Title: Re: BBC News: Swindon suffer double injury blow Post by: Nemo on Friday, July 24, 2009, 09:05:23 To be fair, warming up next to Brezovan would make most people look short.
