Good news on big Scotty Cuthbert being on the mend.

Looking forward to seeing this kid play in the famous white and blue.

Me too michael. Be interesting to see where he plays

I think he'll start off at right back then eventually move inside to centre half.

To be honest what we really miss is a defender who can contribute 5+ goals a season, mostly coming from corners.

Hopefully being 6"2 he can do that for us.

Though thinking about it, Macca apart, we will have a team of 6 footers next season. Not a bad thing to have in League 1 really is it?

Eh - Timlin, Easton and JPM are never 6 feet tall are they?

No they are not, you are right.

They are all about my height, which is 5ft 10.

And let me tell you that I am ruddy awful at football. Or any sport for that matter.

Hopefully we'll play all our 6ft+ players against Gillingham.

Easton 5' 10
JPM 5' 8
Timlin 5' 8

I reckon Phil Smith is under 6 feet as well.

Add in Marshall and Macca and we could still field a really short side.

I've seen Phil Smith in town quite a few times. He is much bigger than you think - He towers over me and is built like a proverbial.

Phil Smith is over 6 foot, maybe 6' 1 or 6' 2, hes a big old unit, he just looks small on the pitch.

To be fair, warming up next to Brezovan would make most people look short.
