Title: Brezovan Post by: Spencer_White on Wednesday, July 15, 2009, 22:53:14 On the bench for Bristol City tonight.
>:( Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Batch on Wednesday, July 15, 2009, 22:55:21 Yes, t'was mentioned in the transfer rumours thread I think. You can only hope if he signs that he is kept busy :)
Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Sippo on Wednesday, July 15, 2009, 22:56:26 Played second half apparently and had a howler for the third.
Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Spencer_White on Wednesday, July 15, 2009, 23:03:44 Basso was shite the last time we played City at home. Ahhh memories.
Never rated Basso. Been spying, City had rings run around them and should have lost 10-0 apparently. Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: 4D on Wednesday, July 15, 2009, 23:44:54 Best in the West :)
Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: yeo on Wednesday, July 15, 2009, 23:54:44 haha some of their fans are going mad because they lost to Ajax in a friendly.
1st time ive looked at OTIB for a couple of years, nice to see they havnt changed. Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: 4D on Thursday, July 16, 2009, 00:06:22 I just had a look YB. You have to laugh at some of the comments :D
Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Rich Pullen on Thursday, July 16, 2009, 00:39:54 Didn't see this thread.
Significant amount of police tonight - LOADS. A lot of complaining too, they've gone all 'big time' - much worse than their 'we're too good for this' mentality when they were in this division. Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: 4D on Thursday, July 16, 2009, 07:24:32 Just seen elsewhere "Ajax take City to the cleaners" :)
Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Ginginho on Thursday, July 16, 2009, 07:47:04 Cracking third goal, was that Brezovan who got lobbed by Albert Luque from 40 yards? :D
Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Leggett on Thursday, July 16, 2009, 09:05:43 Yup, 3rd and 4th goals were past him.
Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Scot Munroe on Thursday, July 16, 2009, 12:20:48 howler for Albert Luque goal a 40 yard chip which he let through his hands
Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Rich Pullen on Thursday, July 16, 2009, 12:29:36 What struck me as quite sad was that no bugger around me had a clue who Peter Brezovan was. Yes, yes Oxford are our main rival and they rank Rovers and Cardiff in front of us but there was a glorious time when as you knew rivals squad (first team at least) and instantly disliked them :)
Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Sippo on Thursday, July 16, 2009, 13:09:10 anywhere I can see the goals?
Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Rich Pullen on Thursday, July 16, 2009, 13:11:20 Sky Sports News was showing them.
Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Spy on Thursday, July 16, 2009, 13:24:06 Is Brez on trial there? He hasn't signed for them has he?
Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Rich Pullen on Thursday, July 16, 2009, 13:26:16 They already have 3 goalkeepers so I doubt it.
Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Rich Pullen on Thursday, July 16, 2009, 14:15:24 2 minutes 10 seconds shows Luis Suárez goal against old boy Brezovan. Not the greatest of camera angles though.

Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Power to people on Thursday, July 16, 2009, 15:53:52 It seems that 1st choice keeper Basso went down injured late on so they wanted a keeper who could come in that was local Brez was suggested and it seems he is staying with them for a few days rather than get sent back, dosen't sound as if Brez has got any trials lined up though
Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Spy on Thursday, July 16, 2009, 15:56:33 Judas!!
Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: nochee on Thursday, July 16, 2009, 15:58:48 2 minutes 10 seconds shows Luis Suárez goal against old boy Brezovan. Yes, yes Oxford are our main rival and they rank Rovers and Cardiff in front of us but there was a glorious time when as you knew rivals squad (first team at least) and instantly disliked them :) Did you offer up any info to them? :) Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Rich Pullen on Thursday, July 16, 2009, 22:17:29 No chance... A few years back I went there with the missus and they announced during the half-times that Swindon were winning, my reaction caused tension.
At Ashton Gate I've also been attacked by an old man with a walking stick and threatened by a chav who was close to being officially classed as a midget :) Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: 4D on Thursday, July 16, 2009, 22:27:12 No chance... Last time I went there was to watch Bath v Brizzle in the rugger :-[ Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: THE FLASH on Thursday, July 16, 2009, 22:42:36 I was behind the goal last night with my City mad mate.
I explained who Brez was. The lob caught him between three minds.....catch, punch or tip over....he did a mix of all three and fucked it up! I was gutted for him. Ajax pissed all over City, i was disappointed that city didnt make more of a fist of it, they had one chance which went straight into the keepers arms. Make no mistake though, Ajax were a joy to watch and a class act....they would of beat Town, City and Rovers combined. Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Arriba on Thursday, July 16, 2009, 22:44:29 the same old brez of last season then?jittery as fuck
Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: leefer on Thursday, July 16, 2009, 22:45:42 Ajax..the cleanest team in Holland!..........did Hartley play for City?
Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Rich Pullen on Thursday, July 16, 2009, 22:48:29 the same old brez of last season then?jittery as fuck Exactly. Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: THE FLASH on Thursday, July 16, 2009, 22:48:41 Ajax..the cleanest team in Holland!..........did Hartley play for City? Yes and he played ok and got stuck in... They just seemed to have no shape and Ajax got stronger. 12,000 for a friendly - you have to appreciate their support, even if they were getting pissy. :D Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: 4D on Thursday, July 16, 2009, 22:50:35 Yes and he played ok and got stuck in... They just seemed to have no shape and Ajax got stronger. 12,000 for a friendly - you have to appreciate their support, even if they were getting pissy. :D Did Ajax bring many? I heard cheering on the news when they scored (could have been you and Rich :) ). It was also said there were 10 arrests....do you know why? Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: leefer on Thursday, July 16, 2009, 22:52:04 Sold 11,000 season ticks....bit down on last year.
Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Rich Pullen on Thursday, July 16, 2009, 22:54:23 I've never seen such a police presence at a friendly.
Apparently a fair few Dutch fans didn't even go into the stadium, just waited outside. They were always going to suffer a drop in ST sales because many bought them just before the Play-Off Final. Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: THE FLASH on Thursday, July 16, 2009, 23:02:53 Did Ajax bring many? I heard cheering on the news when they scored (could have been you and Rich :) ). It was also said there were 10 arrests....do you know why? Seemed to be more Ajax outside than inside......about 300 inside?? Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: 4D on Thursday, July 16, 2009, 23:07:27 I don't get it......why would you travel abroad to follow your team and then stand about and not actually watch them play?.....................no offence SONN :D
Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Rich Pullen on Thursday, July 16, 2009, 23:08:14 FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT

Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Samdy Gray on Saturday, July 18, 2009, 15:59:46 To be fair it sounds from those articles like the City fans started it by charging at the police cordon.
Who the fuck goes looking for trouble at a friendly game anyway? Bunch of lowlife wankers. Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Iffy's Onion Bhaji on Saturday, July 18, 2009, 16:05:10 Reminds of last year when Cardiff fans smashed the CGH window ha ha.
Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Rich Pullen on Saturday, July 18, 2009, 16:07:21 They created a good atmosphere in that East End. But there was too much moaning and people looking genuinely upset by getting thumped by Ajax in a friendly.
Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: alanmayes on Saturday, July 18, 2009, 17:00:21 Brez played in goal again today at Cheltenham.Pook playing for Allen's mob.
Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Spencer_White on Saturday, July 18, 2009, 17:12:21 Who the fuck goes looking for trouble at a friendly game anyway? Bunch of lowlife wankers. Meh. If we were playing Bristol City. ;D Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Summerof69 on Saturday, July 18, 2009, 18:50:31 The Dutch fans were given banning orders which only affects games in England and Wales, so what was the point.
Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: jayohaitchenn on Saturday, July 18, 2009, 19:22:24 The point is they can't come back here.
Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Sippo on Saturday, July 18, 2009, 19:31:57 Ajax fans are fucking mental. Not just ajax fans, but dutch fans in general. They're mental. Been to a few dutch games and they don't hold back. |
