For anyone wanting to follow the progress of the game in real time, please remember the time difference. I wonder who will start between the sticks on Sunday. Is Jonathan Douglas going on the trip? Title: Re: Games in Austria - kick-off times confirmed Post by: Doore on Friday, July 10, 2009, 18:21:36 I'll be honest here, apart from checking out a couple of new signings and trialists, I have never enjoyed watching pre-season friendlies. Especially the early ones, they are an exercise in fitness and getting to know each other. It just doesn't excite like competitive football. However, I am fully aware this means you are a better fan than me. I bow to you oh King Of The Fans.
You are a tit though. Title: Re: Games in Austria - kick-off times confirmed Post by: michael on Friday, July 10, 2009, 18:36:38 I must admit I do wish that I was going now.
I hope to be regularly updated with pictures from the tour as well as news on what the new player initiations were. :) Title: Re: Games in Austria - kick-off times confirmed Post by: Reg Smeeton on Friday, July 10, 2009, 19:16:03 You are a tit though. From my home town of Pretroria 'footie' is a very common term for the greatest game on earth. The beauty of English is it's ability to communicate meaning, and you know what I mean so that is fine. Indeed, the term 'footBALL' is regarding with far more suspicion in the old country!
