I saw him and Terry Burton once at Reading services...  gave him a little wave!  Can someone explain in a nutshell what happened?  I know he was hounded about allegedly having childporn on his computer but didn't understand the ins and outs?

No he was falsely accused of abuse at a care home he worked at after retiring as a player and before getting into management. The case was shocking - all the accusers were serving time, they'd basically concocted their stories while inside together after hearing there was an investigation into allegations of abuse at the home and reckoning they'd make some money out of it. They picked Jones because he was high profile so they thought he'd have some cash for civil suits etc. But the real fault lies with the police/CPS who didn't bother to investigate at all, just swallowed the whole crock and brought a case to court that was so shockingly put together it was torn apart and thrown out within a few days of the start of the trial (and two days of that was to allow the police/CPS time to try and salvage something of the case).
