For all the pool lovers on here, there is to be a memorial tournament on the 27th June starting at approx 10.00am at the 147 (I believe that this has just been refurbished to a really high standard). Entry is £10.00 per person and there will be cash prizes. The hat used to play a lot of pool with my uncle down the Green Baize. He was a nice bloke. I hope it turns out to be a succesful day and that a good amount of money is raised for a worthy cause. Seriously there was some very good players there,and six pints of John Smiths didnt help with my 2nd round match,could hardly rack the balls..hopefully a few quid raised for Leos charity. |
