Title: milwall release 11 Post by: Chubbs on Tuesday, May 26, 2009, 18:07:30 Ahmet Brkovic, Gary Bowes, Richard Duffy, Darren Ebsworth, Adrian Forbes, Lenny Pidgeley, Danny Senda, Danny Spiller, Lyle Taylor and Laurie Walker have all been allowed to leave The Den.
I'd try and pick up Lenny Pidgeley, good keeper Title: Re: milwall release 11 Post by: Nemo on Tuesday, May 26, 2009, 18:08:11 Poor old Senda's pretty much had his career finished by our penalty box hasn't he?
Title: Re: milwall release 11 Post by: michael on Tuesday, May 26, 2009, 18:09:19 He is (or was) on at least £5k a week and I am not aware of footballers being aware of the global economic downturn yet and dropping their demands.
Title: Re: milwall release 11 Post by: suttonred on Tuesday, May 26, 2009, 18:09:54 Pidgely, no thanks he's an arsehole, real trouble.
Title: Re: milwall release 11 Post by: Rich Pullen on Tuesday, May 26, 2009, 18:14:19 Pidgely, no thanks he's an arsehole, real trouble. He is? He had loan spells in Non-Leage which probably says something. The right-back Richard Duffy was one of those promising lower league players who got bought by a big club who then halted his progress dramatically. Title: Re: milwall release 11 Post by: DV on Tuesday, May 26, 2009, 18:16:21 He is (or was) on at least £5k a week and I am not aware of footballers being aware of the global economic downturn yet and dropping their demands. ....and the rest. Millwall fans think he is on about 8k a week. Title: Re: milwall release 11 Post by: Dazzza on Tuesday, May 26, 2009, 18:21:28 Lenny Pidgeley, ex-Chelski? Think it was a rumour but he was linked to us a few years back.
Ahmet Brkovic was ok on his day at this level but he's past his sell by date. Title: Re: milwall release 11 Post by: leefer on Tuesday, May 26, 2009, 18:36:07 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Duffy
Young enough still...highly rated at one time...capped at international level 14 times. Title: Re: milwall release 11 Post by: suttonred on Tuesday, May 26, 2009, 18:38:56 How not to leave a night club.....

Did he get injured or something, because this does seem to be a fall from grace...? Title: Re: milwall release 11 Post by: Panda Paws on Tuesday, May 26, 2009, 21:06:06 Pidgely was on-loan at woking, who got relegated from the conference...i could think of better ways of spending 5k a week, and better keepers for half of that
Title: Re: milwall release 11 Post by: Rich Pullen on Tuesday, May 26, 2009, 21:17:54 Can you believe it's 3 years since Lenny was seen as the ideal replacement for Rhys Evans.

Title: Re: milwall release 11 Post by: Simon Pieman on Wednesday, May 27, 2009, 09:50:12 Nah I was only fussed if the franchise were playing so I could cheer on Millwall. Didn't fancy going out with all the players after if they'd won too, would have been a bit gay.
