Title: Re: Odds for next year already Post by: Bob's Orange on Friday, May 22, 2009, 09:39:55 Can't look at that at work, what are we about 40/1? 16th favourites I would imagine.
What are the odds on Cox being top scorer? Title: Re: Odds for next year already Post by: ibelieveinmrreeves on Friday, May 22, 2009, 09:49:26 Can't look at that at work, what are we about 40/1? 16th favourites I would imagine. Spot on! Title: Re: Odds for next year already Post by: Bob's Orange on Friday, May 22, 2009, 09:50:59 Spot on! I should be a bookie! I suppose at the moment those odds are about right. They aren't going to change much unless we have a raft of top class signings. Might be worth an each way punt just in case we sneak into the play-offs. Title: Re: Odds for next year already Post by: Spy on Friday, May 22, 2009, 09:53:09 Can someone copy and paste all the odds into here please?
Gambling sites are blocked at my work. Title: Re: Odds for next year already Post by: Bogus Dave on Friday, May 22, 2009, 09:53:41 How the fuck can anyone have any idea of who'd going up and down at this point in time. The leagues haven't even been finalised ffs!!

The leagues haven't even been finalised ffs!! yeah you would expect they would wait to see if its gonna be millwall or scunthorpe, or gils or shrewsbury. Title: Re: Odds for next year already Post by: Spy on Friday, May 22, 2009, 10:56:04 ah, ok. think we might be worth a few quid on promotion just for an added financial interest, but not as champions - that would be crazy talk.
Title: Re: Odds for next year already Post by: dell boy on Friday, May 22, 2009, 13:39:20 16/1 Southampton - what a nice bookie to give you such generous odds with a -10 start.
Title: Re: Odds for next year already Post by: Panda Paws on Friday, May 22, 2009, 13:44:04 Mental that both Brentford and Wycombe are shorter than us and Brighton. Brighton could definataly feature in the top 6, and we should be looking to push for the play-offs as well. I'll be shocked if wycombe stay up, let alone get in the top half or higher
Title: Re: Odds for next year already Post by: leefer on Friday, May 22, 2009, 19:17:57 Charlton look massive on both lists to me...think they will walk it.
Title: Re: Odds for next year already Post by: Bogus Dave on Friday, May 22, 2009, 19:20:38 Losing pretty much all their players apparently because of money woes
Title: Re: Odds for next year already Post by: leefer on Friday, May 22, 2009, 19:26:06 Bound to lose some players but they have a quality reserve and youth set up..think they will go straight up.
Title: Re: Odds for next year already Post by: 4D on Friday, May 22, 2009, 23:23:23 At least we are as big as the mighty "Exeter" ???
Title: Re: Odds for next year already Post by: Tails on Saturday, May 23, 2009, 10:40:32 Charlton look massive on both lists to me...think they will walk it. Midtable at best for them, by all accounts they were shocking last season and they've got massive debts. They'll be a League One team for a long time, as will Southampton. Title: Re: Odds for next year already Post by: Rich Pullen on Saturday, May 23, 2009, 10:55:31 How we can decide who stands a chance next season before the transfer window re-opens is beyond this confused soul.
Swindon have shit odds because we were shit this season :) We had mediocre odds last summer because.... that's right. *Puts a tenner on just in case* Title: Re: Odds for next year already Post by: Reg Smeeton on Saturday, May 23, 2009, 10:56:58 Bookies got it about right last season when they had us down for a relegation scrap, from a neutral perspective there isn't much to suggest the forthcoming season will be any different.
Title: Re: Odds for next year already Post by: Spencer_White on Saturday, May 23, 2009, 12:38:15 To be fair, you can get some good odds at this time of year, if you think you know more than the bookies. Look at how Coxy's odds for top goalscorer came down over the summer.
As for those odds, I think theyve got it right with Leeds and Charlton at the top. Huddersfield look a bit long on the odds to me. Wycombe, Southampton and Oldham all look a bit short. 40/1 is a fair reflection on us at the moment, because weve only got half a squad and look to be selling our oustanding player from last season. Hopefully Danny will bag us some decent signings to send those odds tumbling.
