That really is an absolute piss-take if that bid is for BOTH of them.

It was. And it's annoying as well because that right back we are after from them is a no go unless we offer Morrison in exchange. Fuck that.

Surely we can see morrison only signed a year so we get a better fee. If we get 2m plus cuthbert then thats a good deal imo

From the clubs perspective, if we cant keep Morrison for a proper season then it really does make a mockery of our youth policy.

From his perspective, if he can hold down a starting place for a season at Swindon then maybe if or when he does move, he wont have to be a squad player.

Thing is for me Morrison was brill last season...still a teenager if he progresses we could get big money for him...basicly clubs are trying to get him on the cheap because of dishing out for Cox,if Tozer and Lucas are worth a million than he is as well.

Fitton wants 2.5m for both. They both have 1 year left. You stop them joining a big club do you think they will sign new deals? No chance. As for mockery of our youth system thats rubbish. 3m for 3 players in two years is great busines at this level

There is a 'direct' quote knocking about the TEF somewhere from AF stating that he values Cox at 2.5 Mil, however the very same article states that he wants 2.5 mil for both. Some shoddy reporting and a tad confusing.

Could somebody please clarify.

Not sure where that original article came from but it was confusing as to exactly what Fitton meant, whether the £2.5m was for Cox on his own or both of them. There are other articles with quotes from Fitton which make it clear that the club value Cox alone at £2.5m, so Morrison would be extra on top of that.

Obviously just posturing though, if someone offers £2m Fitton will be round at Cox's house packing his bags for him.

I think fitton is not stupid to assume that what we value cox is what we will get,It seems simple to me, they have offerd 1.2m(apparantly) for both and Fitton has said double it you can have both.
