the quicker he's gone the better.that way wilson will know what funds he has to work with to get a replacement in,sooner rather than later.

We don't know what these offers amounted to. If they were derisory figures you'd be up in arms that we were selling him on the cheap!

AF has obviously got a figure in mind that he's prepared to sell for and when that is offered he'll be gone.

If the other one was Celtic, i would imagine/hope that the fullback mentioned recently would be part of the equation. If we can get players instead of cash (as long as they are good) we can stiff the plastics, double result.

Tranmere are going through the courts at the moment for the same thing, they gave Ryan Taylor to Newcastle for N'somnia plus cash and Tranmere had a sell on clause but because in essence he went for free they are disputing the fact that he actually was worth more and therefore should get a % of his worth at the time he was exchanged.

If we swap Cox plus cash I would expect the plastics to come knocking for a percentage of the exchnaged players worth as well , it is all a very grey area.

on another note if I was Fitton I would come out publicly and state " you can have Cox for 3 million , now start the bidding"

What fullback? I thought he was a former Celtic player?

They released him. St Johnstone signed him, I think on a 1 year deal which they are trying to extend.

I'll try and find the link, there was an ex celtic, and a current one mentioned on a board somewhere.
