the messi/ronaldo arguement frustrates me, most people watch the man utd games on tv and see the best and worst of Ronaldo, yet the majority of people will see the highlights of spanish games where Messi looks immesnse (which he is) against average opposition in spain. Messi is yet to score against any british team and id go as far to say hes yet to perform well against a british team. Ronaldo has proved in the best league in the world hes the best by a mile and hes just as good in europe, Messi is yet to convice whilst playing against physical teams

Unfortunately as a nation we regard some of our players as world class mostly out of ignorance of what else is out there unless its World Cup time. If you picked a World XiI how many players of ours would get in there. I'll start the bidding at zero. The nearest thing we've got to world class is the manager who is Italian.

Gerrard is quality...he shines in a very mediocre team.
Ronaldo is quality.. he shines in a very good team..you pays your money and takes your choice.

Someone told me that after the champions league final Ronaldo will sign for Spurs, but that's probably because he heard their strikers are Bent and Keane.

but if you ask many United fans, they'd take a roy keane over ronaldo. The reason Tevez is so popular is because he works his socks off and Keane gave you that every week. His performance in Juve sigle handedly got them to that champs league final in 99.

If I were fergie I'd sell ronaldo this summer while he's still got ridiculously high value. Buy Tevez and valencia/ribery and see what Tosic is made of.
