Title: Re: Alright Delia - Welcome to League One Post by: Rich Pullen on Sunday, May 3, 2009, 13:03:11 They were shite in their must, must, must win against Reading last week.
Talking of shite, Newcastle at Liverpool at the moment = woeful. Title: Re: Alright Delia - Welcome to League One Post by: Reg Smeeton on Sunday, May 3, 2009, 13:21:59 The last time we played Norwich in Div 3, was 59/60, coincidentally the last time we played Soton in Div 3. They were the 2 sides promoted.
Norwich averaged 26000+ that season, Soton 18000. Compared to our 10000+ in a largely mediocre season. Title: Re: Alright Delia - Welcome to League One Post by: Rich Pullen on Sunday, May 3, 2009, 13:35:53 Charlton 4-1 Norwich (Deon Burton hat-trick)
Barnsley beating Plymouth. Title: Re: Alright Delia - Welcome to League One Post by: michael on Sunday, May 3, 2009, 13:40:08 I wonder if we'll pick up any of Plymouth's cast offs this summer.
Easter and Maclean don't seem to be getting much game time of late. Incidentally this is what next year's Adidas kits are looking like for non-Prem sides: http://www.pafc.co.uk/javaImages/8b/37/0,,10364~5846923,00.jpg Title: Re: Alright Delia - Welcome to League One Post by: Rich Pullen on Sunday, May 3, 2009, 13:43:01 Ruined by the pasty logo :)
I wouldn't go close to McLean, Easter or Walton for that matter - The last two who are big time Charles players :) Title: Re: Alright Delia - Welcome to League One Post by: Spencer_White on Sunday, May 3, 2009, 13:45:57 Not Easter, hes an idiot.
The character of the side must be improved. Title: Re: Alright Delia - Welcome to League One Post by: michael on Sunday, May 3, 2009, 13:46:19 I fear for any player trying to fill Cox's boots. (I am assuming that he will leave)
As well as the goals, and sheer quality of them, he ran his heart out for the side. He is indeed a rare talent. Title: Re: Alright Delia - Welcome to League One Post by: Rich Pullen on Sunday, May 3, 2009, 13:51:10 Cureton?

Let's hope it isn't like the last! Get with it, Football League chairmen are voting about this next week. Title: Re: Alright Delia - Welcome to League One Post by: No Longer Posh Red on Sunday, May 3, 2009, 14:57:02 Get with it, Football League chairmen are voting about this next week. Yeah it's Gartside's idea, that's the only way he can make sure Bolton are in the premier League for the next 10 years ;) Title: Re: Alright Delia - Welcome to League One Post by: Reg Smeeton on Sunday, May 3, 2009, 15:02:10 Get with it, Football League chairmen are voting about this next week. Well, we've just about seen out a decade in Div 3, apart from the diversion of a relegation, with just one finish inside the top ten. Another decent season certainly wouldn't go amiss. Think we'll know soon enough when Wilson recruits his replacements, as to whether the Board are going for it. |
