Title: Sean Morrison
Post by: michael on Sunday, April 5, 2009, 19:32:13
Will he be here next season?

First half of this year I was indifferent to him, though his throw was always useful.

Since January, I really think he has been superb.

No doubt he has benefited a lot from playing with Germaine, but he really has come on a long way in a short space of time, to the extent where I would now consider him to be part of our strongest line up.

:)

I should add that when I said 'first half of this year', I actually meant 'first half of this season'.

Apologies.

Personally I think it is more important that we keep Sean than Cox next year, and get him on a decent contract!

He could potentially turn into a very lucrative player for us!

Fuck me, if Lucas and Tozer were worth what we got then fook knows what Sean could be worth if he carries on developing like he has.

Morrison has the potential to become captain and a legend here in a very short space of time and I really fucking hope he does. Cracking player with his head firmly screwed on.

Its a cliche but he really does show maturity well beyond his years. Class player with a great future.

He's a fair bit off captain if the differences in his form when alongside a variety of players is to go by. When he's confident enough to be Ifil's babysitter in a back two pairing then he's ready for captaincy.

We'll probably know that at the Peterborough game as Greer's loan runs out before that one!

No need to apologise, all football fans know what you meant.
