Title: Is it right that people here keep criticising our players? Post by: sergeant_wilson on Sunday, April 5, 2009, 14:49:32 It is rare that i stray away from the 80% bollox into the 25% football bit of this forum. However when i do all i read is non stop criticism sometimes even abuse and personal attacks upon our players. There are some disgracefull comments such as so and so is shit and he has to go next season. It is hard to believe but I have even read some comments questioning the players commitment and effort. :doh:
Do you people not realise that our players work there asses off from 10 in the morning to 3 in the evening every week day so that they are in prime physical condition to entertain you on a saterday. Do you people not realise that our players gave up going to college and university so that they could play football and entertain you on a saterday. Do you people not realise that our players cannot go out and get legless on a friday night so that they are fit to entertain you on a saterday. Do you people not realise that our players refrain from wanking on a friday night so that their hands can clasp a pen to sign autographs for you on a saterday. If I was a player reading the comments of you people here I would just think whats the point f**k it i will just run about a bit hoof the ball in any direction and if we lose sod it. I can't help wondering if he is really as good as people think. Surely the only reason he stands out is because all our other players are so shit and lazy. If he was the real deal then someone would have bought him in the transfer window. Besides that he runs like a girl and is a diver and a cheat.
