Top scorer and perennial-Swindon-scourge Nicky Forster is out for the season, as is next-top-scorer Glenn Murray. On top of that, they have won only 4 games at home this season.

These are facts that I know that analytical minds among us will enjoy reading.

They play away mid-week though this is against Hereford, so Town fans will be hoping for a raft of red cards, injuries, and a home win.

We'll sell out the away end won't we?

We'll still lose. They are morons, I dislike them tremendously.

Reckon we'll have a fair few there. I think we wont lose, our form last 5 has seen 10 points, their's is complete rubbish, we have Cox they have very little, we always lose there or seem to, but not this time.

Cox will have to improve an awful lot from yesterday to give them any problems.

Did he play that badly so as not to injure himself and jeopardise any big money move in the close season?  I would rather hope not!

I don't buy this at all. It'd have to be a pretty serious injury to rule him out for all of April, May, June and July and prevent anybody from buying him.

If we lose at Brighton then we probably deserve to go down, seeing as though they're so cack. First goal will be crucial. Big, big game.

FWIW I think we'll win a nervy game 1-0.

 The key stat in that lot is Brighton have only won 4 at home all season, that more or less guarantees them all 3 on Sat.   Show us a poor team with a wretched home record, and we roll over...Cheltnumb, Yeovil, Crewe, ColU, although we did nick a point at Hereford.  The win at Leyton Orient was due to it being on Boxing Day, when for some reason we have an excellent record.

It's good new about Forster, as he's an STFC specialist, but then again so is Owusu, and don't get me started on Dicker and Cox.

Still by the end of next Monday, we should have a pretty clear idea of what league we'll be playing in next season, so the debate on the future of Wilson can commence in earnest.

After the JPT game...i swore that i would never set foot in that shit excuse for a stadium again.

I think even the normally :clap: Tails, can now see the grim reality, that we're likely to need another side to collapse, as our players haven't the bottle to do the job on their own.

Some of us are still keeping the faith. one defeat in our last five games, 10 points from a possible 15 tell me that all is not lost.

I havent lost the faith at all.

I have seen enough home and away to know we can pull it off.

We drew at Millwall...we deserved more.
We lost at Colchester...we deserved a point.
We lost at Leeds...a point went a begging.
Tranmere...could of got a point. (NB - I went to all of these)
N'ton - jangled the nerves but deserved the three points.

Saturday was piss poor...lucky to get anything and they (exception of Smith in goal) deserved to be slated.

According to the stats we have won 15% drawn 40% and lost 45% on the road. At home Brighton have won 20% drawn 30% and lost 50%. So on that basis I am confused  :doh:

Ah, now I understand. If we add our win % to there loss % and vice versa both = 65%; if we add the draw % = 70%.

If you look at points gained v bottom half of the table opponents, we're 24th.

Points v top half,11th....we've three strugglers to play, I see no reason for this to change now...

Apparently Brighton don't have a ticket issuing facility at the ground.

well I dont know if I can go until Saturday .. so I guess that means I cant go then ... oh I hate Brighton!

Yes i'm coming down, only 35 mins for me, i fully intend to use my day pass to drink the maximum amount i can!

Sadly I can't afford to go after taking home half my usual pay last pay day. Me and drinking aren't getting on very well at the moment.

You might be able to phone swindon's ticket office and get them to contact brighton to arrange pick up on the day, this is what i did for the jpt game

I ordered mine wednesday,ticket office said I can pick them up at Withdean on the day.I have a spare so can arrange to meet anyone who wants it on the day

Rain forecast for the morning down here, but due to clear up in the afternoon...... The Brewery Tap and the Crown & Anchor are the nearest pubs to Preston Park Train Station, otherwise for the drivers it is the Black Lion just as you get into Brighton..... Or down town before the game.
