Title: Murray vs Del Potro
Post by: michael on Friday, April 3, 2009, 23:38:25
He is in the semi finals and, as I type, 4-0 up in the first set.

If he wins this match, then the final, then he will go to 3rd in the world. The first Brit to ever achieve this feat.

Come on Andrew.

Fed blew it and is out.

I think he's shot now.

Murray won the first set.

I don't think he does go third, sorry. Djokovic is still in the tournament, so unless they're both leapfrogging the Fed he can't be going third.

Well done Muzza!!!  Great to see someone who "hates the english" so much, march into another final!!!

You know if he was just a Scottish lad, who sees england as a rival and therefore doesn't support them, then that'd be fair enough, but because of his extreme "hatred" for all englishmen and women it makes his victories even more special.

And it's a wrap, brilliant play at times from Murray.

And so Murray wins it. 6 2, 7 5.

What an awesome performance by the curly surly Brit.

Still wouldn't back him against the top 3 anywhere other than on the hard fast bouncy courts.

But still.

Terrible effort.
