I've very little to do at the moment, any ideas on how to amuse myself?

non-internet based ideas would be most useful

Blue-tac is always the answer to that question my man.

I have a whole pile of paper-clips that i fiddle with!  :?   Can't beat a good few games of minesweeper.

I am struggling also. I can't fill my days at all!

make cup of tea- 2 mins
have a dump - 10 mins
talk to the few people I can actually tolerate non-work related conversation with - 15 mins

I'm running out of ideas now. Help me please or I'll have to do some filling or some other menial work thats below me and thats just gay.

Email some people you havent spoken to in a couple of months. They might have something interesting to say.

go & buy a newspaper or magazine or something...

I sit next to the most boring person i have ever meet.  He speaks in monotone, and his conversational topics bore me to tears.  The worst thing is when he tries to crack a joke, aids is funnier than this bloke.

I manage to make my dumps last about 20 mins, bit of an office joke now!  Take my mobile with me and sit and play pool basically.  8)

Fortunately my boss is the biggest scive there is so he is more than happy to chat about bollocks for ages.

How about if he got AIDS? Would that top it all?

First of all, surely you can make tea making last longer?

How about you take it upon yourself to tidy the stationery cupboard, if it doesn't need it, then make a mess so it does.  It's always easier doing something that you are not responsible for.

Are there no work related magazines you really should get up to date with?

work related magazines!  Good idea Tom.

Trouble with that is I'm not really very interested in what these magazines will say. Good to use as a cover story for doing fuck all though.

time to walk to the canteen for a sarnie in a minute though. Plenty of potential for skiving there, starting with an unscheduled fag break.

That's that problem with work related magazines usually, content is tres boring.

But as you say, at least you can make it look like you're doing something.

There might be some fun competitions in them too. 8)

I hate those company magazines, always have pictures of brain washed corporate twats grinning from ear to ear.  I file ours straight in the bin, should really recycle them I suppose.

I usually thumb trough ours to look for incriminating photos of people I know grinning like pricks.

That and pick out any company poontang I may have inadvertantly missed.

Spacey works at Zurich?  It's definitely not him, this guys looks like the kinda bloke who used to get picked at the end, and only had the toe punt in his ball skill range.  The lad who didn't like getting muddy during rugby or football in PE, preferring to just stand there in the pouring rain and freezing to death.

Walk around at pace with a piece of paper and go talk to people.  Never fails if you look like you are hurrying between desks it looks like you are going flat out.

I've just come up with a great way to waste time at work.

Just gone to the stationery cupboard pretending to need a pad of some sort.

While there I checked out the different types of paper/card, and have found enough decent roach material to last an entire lifetime.

Jesus F'ing H Christ. How do they manage to make air conditioning the cools you down in the winter and heat you up in the summer. My balls are sweaty.
