1977 to 1979, didn't have to do anything, just lie there, shitting myself, getting cleaned up, getting fed, playing around etc.  Brilliant!

Can't wait til 2062 (ish) when it'd have gone full circle!!  ;-)

my three years at uni were poretty good. school days were also good. But I've not got my own house, fairly comfortable, so these days aren't bad either. It's only Swindon that stresses me out these days!


The only other downside of now is that my parents are getting older, which is rubbish.

Would love to be 18/19 again -lived at home - was earning quite well for someone my age - spent all my money on expensive clothes and going out - I was like a size zero - had about 3 sunbeds a week so was lush and brown and had blonde hair!!

There were 2 years a few years ago when i lived with some mates... decent paid job and good times. Like uni but with earlier starts, and less debt.

2001 to 2004. Living at home rent free, no bills, a nice little part time job and going out and getting shit faced every Friday and Saturday night.

just friday at sat? lightweight, i used to go out thursdays fridays saturdays and sundays, sometimes even wednesdays,

Well, Sunday to Thursday were sitting round a mates house getting stoned nights, Friday and Saturday were out in town getting very drunk nights.

Jan 2000-Sept 2000. 23 years old, just finished a long term relationship and went to every party that was on offer around the country.

June 2001-June 2002 Round the world trip spunking in excess of £13000 on the piss and jumping off big stuff.

June 2005-Sept 2007 Became a Scuba diving instructor and lived on the Perhentian islands in Malaysia for most of that time. Inbetween seasons in Malaysia i worked in Phuket, Thailand.

i honestly cannot answer this question.i've enjoyed all of my life so far and hope it continues that way.
schools years were great times,teenage years were great,20's were great and so are my 30's.

I'm with arriba - each season of your life brings different but still enjoyable pleasures in their own right. Although until I read what arriba had written I was with jan in the "bring on senility" approach

Its much easier to say that I had a "difficult" time between 2004 and 2007.

Apart from that I have had a fucking brilliant time

1990-2009

Probably when I was 19-28,then some how and for no real reason I started feeling and looking old and seem to be gradually becoming a hermit.

I'd say I'm currently having the time of my life at yooni, but I've not really got that much to complain about at any time. Things were shit when my parents had a messy split a few years back but even then I had my mates etc

03/04 playing well at youth level, pro contract about to be offered then knee injury and now limited to 5 a side every few months, im a more severly injured version of Ledley King

  I once read that 1976 was supposed to be the best year of the 20th Century...some historians or other, factored in a mass of data..economic, sociological, climatological, cultural etc and ended up with that year.

 It chimed pretty well with me...as being early 20's living with a fit bird in London, during the long heatwave summer, I had a reasonable job, ability to fund a drug habit and the chance to see some exciting bands on the way up.

 I was also a right arrogant bastard, and thought this is how it is.....bit like Mex now really. :)

94 - 98 (ish). In the heyday of my pill popping days. When the Bell in old town was still the bell, the Hells Angels liked me and so I was protected, got loads of free drugs, got invited to tons of parties and could do pretty much what I wanted. Oh, and the summer of Euro 96 was thrown in as well for good measure.

2003-2006 (ish). In Thailand as sales manager for an international company. A very good wage and a house on the beach (literally) paid for. Liquid enough to do what I wanted when I wanted, except for working hours but even then I was the boss and so I still got to do pretty much what I wanted. I also got married and had a daughter in that time.

It's gone a tad quiet now, although I'm far from unhappy. Looking forward to the next "pink patch". My guess is that it could be when the recession is done with.

I would change a lot of things if I had my time over again, but ....
I've been lucky, and had a great life, great family, great fun times, not many worries in the world until 2008 reared its ugly head, but hang on, I got the all clear with my darling wife, now that is something money cant buy.
Then 2009 came along, CRASH!! .... I'm so pleased I'm not in my young 20s trying to manage in the current era.

But step back and realise, I will never be 20 again and those lucky enough to still be young and full of life make of it what you can and have fun .... from an old fart - live life to the full and take what ever comes on the chin.

2002-2003. money travel and health.

this last year has been ace, i've grown up but also had a blast.

i've got freedom in my own place, but the downside of a mortgage...work could be worse, the mrs is ace.

1986-90ish, still living at home, then moved out and got my own place but still had some decent money left over to enjoy myself, Got to most if not all of the Town's matches through one of their best periods, just had a great time between 17-21ish.

Still happy now, but didn't seem to have so much to worry about when i was younger (like a big mortgage etc).

98-00

Discovered girls, had not a care in the world and a really good time through it all.

03-07 when things were quality and not boring.

Had a couple of really good seplls. 79 - 83 went just about everywhere with Town - on the piss on the minibuses. Got banned for life from STFC after being nicked at Newport but not giving a fuck. Work just paid for football. Women were no real concern- glad for anything I could get.
Another purple patch from 86 - 94 - living in Brizzle and the football was great. I had independence for the first time and met my wife. Town were great, my wife was great.
Since then its been pretty good - married, kids.
The last 4 years have not been than great. A lot of death in my family, my mum, my mother in law, my brother, my niece,m my uncle a copule of friends - its not been very nice at all.
But I'm hopefull the next few years will be good. I'm still working, my kids are ace, my wife is ace and I'm alive and drinking beer. 

Thus far 2000-2007 - Not a care in the world.

From the mid seventies onwards for about a decade, the spin was rooming quite a bit of the time.  Besides the odd infection, what else I can remember is mostly hazy.

2002 - present.  Went to uni, had a great time.  Single for two years and enjoyed the freedom.  Then met the mrs - even better.  Now living with her and working and generally loving life.  I do sometimes think long hours, traffic jams, bills, deadlines - but then I consider the living conditions of so many in the world and realise that I am one lucky man.  Especially lucky, since I'm basically an arsehole.

2001 - Great year.

1973-recovered from bad illness,got myself the best looking girl in the school had trials for England U18(DIDNT GET IN) saw some great prog bands(ELP,Family) halcyon.
