I am right in thinking that this the last season for lotto to manufacture our kits?
Its usually this time of year that we get designs to vote on?

Any preferences? Think I'd like a retro kit.

Yes, last Lotto year, and if popular rumour is to be believed Adidas will be next up.

we will be playing in an adidas kit next year, the home kit will be the same design as peterboroughs home kit this season, but obviously red :P

Great! Looks like we are going down the pikey route of getting our kits off of a third party instead of direct from the manufacturer. The quality will be crap.

I am boring when it comes to football kits... If it's Adidas I'd prefer a plain red shirt with 3 stripes on the sleeve.

Isn't the rumour that Adidas are going to operate the club shop (keeping the current staff) if that's the case then it'd be straight from the manufacturer I'd imagine.

I REALLY hope we don't the quality is awful and the training kit etc is straight off the £5 shelf at Soccer sports.

I have to say, that apart from the Kingswood logo fiasco, I have had no problems with my Lotto shirt at all. 

If Adidas do take over the shop, maybe we will get some smaller kits in - smallest they do now is 5 years old, I believe?

Yes. I've had no problems with the shirts I've bought this year but the summer fiasco was ridiculous.

Posh's away shirt is quite nice and plain.

I had to buy a Small because the medium was really long.

I'm all for them going old skool if they go with Adidas. Plain single colour shirt with 3 stripes, what more do you need? Other than the Adidas and club logo's, the players name and number, of course.

You believe wrong. The smallest they do is something like "small boys" which is 6-7 at the verysmallest. It's one of my favourite rant subjects - youth is the future, but they'll have to buy Man U or Liverpool  kits.

Hopefully we'll employ a proper buyer in place this year that can negotiate kids size kits at cost effective prices.

Isn't the head of Joma UK a swindon fan, or have I just made that up? I personally think from a marketing point of view a proper kit deal with Joma would be better than just buying Adidas kits, at least then we're in charge of our own merchandise.

What's the deal with Adidas supplying kits to clubs and running club shops?

From what people have said, they don't supply them direct and the clubs in effect have to choose from a catalogue and get them from a 3rd party. If Adidas don't give a fuck, why do they bother in the first place?

Why would Adidas want to run the club shop at Swindon? I can't believe the profit would be worth the effort.

I'm not sure if the supplier of the kit I've seen is/or will be confirmed, but part of the deal with FourFourTwo - given that some major kit suppliers advertise in their pages -  was for them to help introduce the club to new partners. It's not just about them writing a feature in the mag now and again...

I think they do, and they'll employ their own staff so everyone who currently works in the club shop would be made redundant, probably. I might be getting them confused with Nike.

I can get away with wearing a large youths shirt, which makes it quite tight, and it doesn't go past my belt.

If I am being honest the XL is a bit "clingy" but if I buy XXL it will be down to my knees :-[ . I suppose it would save on the expense of buying the shorts.

Nah, even 4XL is too small for me.

Next season becuase I am so fat, I am going to buy a curtain rail, bend it into a circle put it over my head and just buy the STFC Curtains to wear instead of a shirt that wont fit around my gut.

Make sure your curtain rail has those clever draw string things for easy flashability.

Its going to be a mix of a "moo moo" and a Mark Devlins Flashers mac
