Title: Re: Train to Yeovil Post by: reeves4england on Friday, March 20, 2009, 10:54:43 "Yeovil has two railway stations, Yeovil Junction is 2-3 miles out of town and Pen Mill junction about a mile from the town centre. Both are on the opposite side of town to the ground. From both stations it is advised to get a taxi to the stadium or alternatively if you arrive at Yeovil Junction, then you can catch the ‘Hopper’ minibus to the bus station in the town centre. "
I'll probably be driving down as long as I can get the car Title: Re: Train to Yeovil Post by: Jamiesfuturewife on Friday, March 20, 2009, 10:56:25 Im torn between going to Yeovil and Evies first birthday tea party
Title: Re: Train to Yeovil Post by: Simon Pieman on Friday, March 20, 2009, 11:23:46 Steve seemed to think a taxi from the station wouldn't be too bad. I suppose if you get it to and from the Arrow it'll be a little easier too.
Title: Re: Train to Yeovil Post by: DMR on Friday, March 20, 2009, 11:27:43 The station is fucking miles from what I remember, although my last 2 visits I've been smashed. You've got to walk through some park and all the way through the town centre.

Title: Re: Train to Yeovil Post by: herthab on Friday, March 20, 2009, 13:46:22 Get a taxi to the Arrow pub and phone for a taxi at the Arrow after.
Trying to get a taxi from the ground after the game is near impossible, unless you still want to be there for hours. Title: Re: Train to Yeovil Post by: Matchworn Shirts on Friday, March 20, 2009, 15:03:32 I would imaging we will have a fair few there, especially if we beat Hereford

Title: Re: Train to Yeovil Post by: Samdy Gray on Monday, March 23, 2009, 17:54:17 Anyone parking at the ground in the away supporter's car park, I suggest you take some emergency rations incase you end up taking 2 hours to get out like I did a couple of years ago.
Title: Re: Train to Yeovil Post by: Matchworn Shirts on Monday, March 23, 2009, 17:58:36 Last 2 times we drove we parked in the housing estate that is on the left hand side before the turning for the ground (if you are coming from the dual carriage way) - if you get there in reasonable time you should be able to park there
