Canary Wharf next week.... You cannot define Scousers as 'working class'. They don't have fucking jobs. Loved it when she pulled the labour bloke up on the "Muslim Council", as it is strange how labour/conservatives seem to think that if the Muslim Council agree to something it's all fine. When she said "do you approach a White Council" for feedback? The faces of the MPs was class.

A "white council" wouldn't be allowed to Jan, it's racist and only white people can be racist...didn't you know this? Title: Re: Question time Post by: janaage on Friday, March 13, 2009, 10:57:20 I think that was the point the asian lady was making, she saw the hypocrisy (sp) of it all, the MPs could grasp this concept.

Aren't you from Southport aka a "Posh Scouser"? I do like Liverpool for all the flak it gets the people are genuinely a warm and friendly bunch. Paul, being of North West descent have you heard of Purple Aki? Title: Re: Question time Post by: Spy on Friday, March 13, 2009, 11:55:11 Aren't you from Southport aka a "Posh Scouser"? According to my girlfriend " he is this big black guy who got arrested loads for chasing boys in liverpool and wanting to touch their muscles. he chased one boy who was so frightened he ran onto the train tracks and died so he got done for manslaughter" Title: Re: Question time Post by: Spy on Friday, March 13, 2009, 12:05:58 Actually she said the train tracks bit might be an urban myth.
Heres a link. Seems to be some truth in it http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/merseyside/7486224.stm Title: Re: Question time Post by: Dazzza on Friday, March 13, 2009, 13:00:48 I do love the Purple Aki stories. It's proper urban myth bogeyman with a twinge of truth about it and people are still genuinely terrified of him!

According to my girlfriend " he is this big black guy who got arrested loads for chasing boys in liverpool and wanting to touch their muscles. he chased one boy who was so frightened he ran onto the train tracks and died so he got done for manslaughter" Having spent time up in Manchester, there were a number of Purple Aki stories floating about, but most of it was urban myth and genuinely a piss-take from the Mancunians. Especially toward a couple of scouse lads we played football with. |
