Well the L&P website is back, its not L&P with banners and balloons etc although for some games this may be done, But its a site with reviews of grounds as a Swindon Town fan. So keeping with L&P at away games, It will also have the other stuff and pictures from away days etc but not working as a fans group its just a website now. Would love for peoples opinions and ground reviews as a Town fan to post. Its still in early days right now and will be expanded and the forum updated etc. But if anyone is interested L&P is back but not how it was!

Alan was drunk one night and butchered what was left of the forum changing the sub names to stupid things that makes it look really daft. I’ve changed some of them back and got rid of the JFW forum from there. Funny how he is obsessed with Charlotte given the fact he hasn’t really spoken or seen her in months!

Any way I am updating the site anyway now I don't do Vital anymore so can add other stuff on there about away days etc...

Once upon a time in a Town called Swindon there was a football club that had a place in many peoples hearts. However at meetings he seemed strangely quiet. Out of curiousity one of the other forum members sent him a private message asking him why this was. The very vocal on the forum Trust board member replied saying that as a member of the Trust board he had agreed with the other board members that they should adopt a certain stance at meetings so it appeared that they were all singing from the same hymn sheet. The curious forum member raised this issue with some other Trust board members who denied this was the case and stated that meetings were there so that everyone could have their say regardless of whether they were on the board or not. The curious forum member questioned the very vocal forum member further and was told in no uncerain terms to go away. A short while later the curious forum member posted a lighthearted story about a racist forum member. The very vocal forum member called the curious forum member a cunt and said that one day he might get stabbed

No one has slaggged Alan off at all about what he did, with minibuses etc, but one comment he took to heart etc as if I were slagging him off for what he has done in the past. What should have continued behind closed doors has been aired rather publically now. Without wishing to stir things up further I think my earlier semi-serious comments about L & P are evident in this whole incident. You take the rough with the smooth I guess, that kind of communtiy was the reason away trips and the such always got organised to such great success. Unfortunately I think this is also the reason something snowballed into a personal matter seen and viewed by everyone publically.

It was actually written in private to be honest. There is the organisation part of the L&P forum where things would be organised in private where it was originally posted and I sent a PM to Alan but for one reason or another it was decided to be best aired in public which is sad really but it is what it is. Because it was moved into the public forum, sadly other people have now seen it and got involved and will likely be “I agree with him” or “I agree with him” which is sad and silly really. I’ve drawn a line under it to be honest. Whether Alan does the same is up to him, I don’t hate him or wish any malice on the bloke. He is of course more than welcome to join everyone for a pint and forget it really. That’s the ideal world, whether that happens or not who knows? The whole thing should have been kept in private but then again I am half at fault for replying so… yeah!

The L&P website isn't part of a chain or franchise (unlike the majority of STFC sites out there)

Back in my single days, I once wasted a lazy Sunday afternoon at small cinema in Covent Garden watching the film on a big screen.  You've not seen the film until you've seen it in a cinema.  TV doesn't do it justice.

I post on the L&P forum too. I find it particularly great because I can find out exactly what particular members are cooking, eating, drinking and listening to right now. Also I can determine if they are happy or sad and what has caused this feeling.

It's a nice quiet little backwater  :D
