I'm sure David Morgan is an avid TEF reader and will take your suggestion on board Scot.

Someone needs to do a few donuts on the WI pitches.

Let's be honest, the only thing that has made this series interesting has been the referrals system.

Wonder if they'll use it in the Ashes...

It will be the arguement as to why technology shouldn't be used in football.

These referals are ridiculous. If they are used in The Ashes I can see a fight happening - Actually, lets keep them :D

Fights happen in the ashes anyway. ands because of the use of subs.

2005 - trent bridge..ricky ponting moaning about trevor penny. not really a fight i suppose, but funny to watch an australian get wound up....lets keep referrals just to annoy ponting.

I was more suggesting the throwing of a cricket bat at a fielders head.

They should either use all the technology - i.e. Hawkeye's predictions, hotspot, snicko etc - or none at all. No half hearted attempt to use technology and preserve any credibility for Umpires.

Agreed, and it should be the latter. Regardless of what Charles bloody Colville thinks. With the time it's taking to review,(especially with someone like Bucknor at the controls),it's soul destroying for the people actually at the ground.

If they start accepting Hawkeye's predictive path, Test matches will be over in a couple of days and everyone will be moaning about loss of revenue.

Agree with Scott.

This bollocks takes all the spontaneity (sp) of cricket. For fans who enjoy watching batting sides then its probably good, but for fans like myself who enjoy watching bowlers more, its a nightmare.

They should mix it up by occassionally shining strobe lighting into the batter/bowler/fielder's eyes. They should call it Rave Cricket and play it at night and every time a six is hit a shower of pills thrown into the crowd.

That would liven things up a bit.
