Title: The TEF Sandwich Competition 09 Post by: flammableBen on Sunday, March 8, 2009, 23:34:33 I've been meaning to do this for ages, KT being on-line reminded me.
Fuck all that stunners world cup knock out nonsence. This TEF compo will be a straight up poll on the best sandwich, or sandwich derivative. Panini, baguette, anything which involves a baked bready product with stuff on. The spirit of the competition is more important than me hacking down loads of rules. [Rules] No sides. Your sandwich product must speak for itself. A picture and a description must be sent to me by the end of March. We all know what ingredients on a bready product look like. Don't try and bend the rules to include other crap. Spirit of the competition and all that. I reckon I'll go as far to allow stuffing Croissants. If in doubt, ask. To clarify the spirit thing, has to be something you could eat as you would a sandwich. That sounds fair enough. [/Rules] Go mental with your pictures and descriptions, the funner the better. I'm going to enter this one, I promise not to deliberately take ideas from what you send me, but if you want to be safe then send it later rather than earlier. Unless anybody else wants to volunteer to take entries? As mentioned before. All entries will be on a straight up poll. New forum allows for multiple votes (I think) so if there are enough then I'll let people vote for their favourite two or three. Good luck my fellow sandwich makers. Oh Yeah.
