Went out to walk the dog, the heavens opened and it pissed down with rain, as I looked down and my soaking hoody, jeans and white trainers it brought back so many memories of the last time I was stuck outside in rain that bad (well probably worse) was exactly a year ago today At that sorry excuse for a football stadium known as the Withdean..... Right about this time last year I was nervous....then we scored.....then we scored again and I was one of the happiest people in the world no doubt, that lastes for nearly half an hour....then well we know how the story goes....that was probably the last time I genuinly happy as well :cry: What a difference a year can make, this time last year Mooney was a hero, now hes a cunt Title: This time last year.... about 30 seconds after the last penalty my housemate's girlfriend discovered text messages hinting at infidelity on his phone and went absolutely mental to the point where the police were called by neighbours worried about domestic violence. I answered the door and was pinned to the wall by the throat and arm by one of the officers (clearly thinking I was the boyfriend) before things were finally sorted out. Then I went out and got absolutely hammered.. Not one brightonian I have spoken to about the match has dared to suggest that they deserved to win.. Title: This time last year.... Got to Walkabout on West Street about six, had a bit of food and got talking to a couple of girls from Luton. One was a town fan, the other Chelsea. Out of the 150-180 Brighton in there, we were the only Town fans. Sat through the game with them, the latter half hugging the Town girl for all my life hoping things would go our way (the game, not her). Game over. Got up, walked out, went to get the last train home, didn't even say goodbye to them. Oh, and missed the fuckin train too. Title: This time last year.... I think the 4 nights out in a row with all day shifts at the weekend are mostly to blame, I'm used to getting little sleep
Yes exams in 10 days, but my friends and I are being ultra nerdy. Library is full of fitties though so I don't get much work done :wink: |
