Title: Do you think?
Post by: Jamiesfuturewife on Thursday, February 26, 2009, 13:03:56
They will do an "end of season" event thing again this year? you know like the ones at the Devere and the Old Bank?

Or do you think it will be credit crunched?

I saw they are selling tickets for that 1969 thing next weekend for £2 when they were supposed to be £20 ish they obviously havent had much uptake for it? Money being tight for people and stuff?

Just talking about the one at the Devere with Fred and Sam the other night made me think about how fun it was PLUS its an excuse to buy a new dress!!

My mate wanted to go to the 1969 thing....I couldn't be arsed.

At the end of the Old Bank do, I was told they'd look to host it in the CG as it made no money.  If that was the case I'd probably give it a miss, having seen enough crap there already this season.

Last seasons soiree was a bit like a welcome to the new owners sense of optimism thing, which has long gone...don't think it's right to overcelebrate relegation.

We are not going down, but agree nothing to celebrate this season.

I feel full of wrong for saying so but that made me chuckle!
Blair came over to talk to us in the members lounge thing the other night and was talking to my dad about his dad - - My dad had let me have a whole bottle of Magners to myself and I nearly blurted out "I miss your dad and his big turkey neck" luckily I held back!

This is why Im not allowed to drink I think

Bollocks to that. Party in the Park with a footy, some flammableBen Death Burgers and a crate of cider (each) seems like a much better & cheaper option.....

I can think of nothing worse than spending social time with the very people who have ruined my Saturday afternoons for the last few months. And i don't mean Bennett

I tend to agree, although I'd regard it more as a chance to spend time with other loyal Town fans mocking the cunts for getting us relegated.

Chris Kamara is doing the honours at this...how I wish we could find a midfielder like him now...should we go down, I don't think I could stomach it, and I'm not talking the food.
