I wouldn't say it was stunning. He made 3 really good reaction saves but his kicking and general command of his area was still quite poor.

Judging by the walsall game his kicking has improved beyond measure. I made a rather anoraky!! point of watching him Tuesday and he was 100% with both feet.

Well I watched him today and his kicking was gash.

he doesnt want to play for us, he'll never play for us again and he's going in January anyway

Hes thebest keeper in this division by miles..under Malpass his confidence took a bashing,he was everyones man of the match yesterday and he had a good game v Walsall...that will do for me.

So you'd rate Brez more highly than Joe Lewis who's been called up by Capello, recently?

Brez needs to improve considerably if he's to get a new contract with us...which I doubt he will. I still think DW will try and get Konstantopoulos in the summer.

Brez for me is the best keeper in the league...Lewis has alot of potential and will be a top keeper one day,i agree Reg that its going to be interesting at contract time...but lets not forget under Malpass both he and Smith were messed around....you cant rotate your keepers,you have a number 1 and obviously thats Brez in Wilsons eyes....and was mine when Mallpass was fannying around with Smith...it didnt do any keeper any favours...i will have a friendly wager Brez is here next season.

 I think MM did what just about any manager would have done, namely if your number one is having a bad time, and you've a known capable number 2, then he gets a run.

 We had seen that Smith was at least, a steady, if unspectacular keeper...for both your keepers to implode at the same time is pretty unusual.

Fair enough...all i am saying is its good to see Brez back...lets not forget also he had a very serious injury too contend with.

The amount of errors both our keepers have made definitely confirms neither are near the best in the league.

Regading Brez, I havent been to many away games when he has played, but all the home games he has been involved in, I really dont think he has made that many mistakes this season compared to Smith.
I remember the mistakes against Leeds.
Hartlepool away he dropped the ball over the line apparently, but the replays I've seen are not conclusive.
He has flapped at a few crosses, his general kicking from hands is poor as well but he is certainly an above average keeper for Division One.
It's nice to see him getting his form back, and we would probably have five or six more points this season if he had been between the sticks instead of Smith when Malpas was on his last legs.

The flapping at crosses is what bothers me the most.  Hes so indecisive and for someone of his height, I cant help thinking he should be catching more/dominating in the air etc.

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy hes back etc, but am not convinced hes the best in league one (apart from before his injury of course  :))

Joe Lewis that got called up because all the other goal keepers were already on holiday.

Brez's shot stopping yesterday was immense.

His kicking was utter, utter, utter shite.

Ankergran, Lewis and even Steve Phillips strike me as better keepers.

Ask the Leeds fans what they think about Ankergran they think he is shit, he played well against us though.

They had Lucas in goal against us this season.

Brez was superb yesterday-I would give him 9/10 and it would have been 10 if his kicking was better.I think Samdy is being a bit hard on him-I thought his decision making was pretty sound,he got everything that he came for and just showed  a bit of hsitation in one situation,but I thought that was a communication problem more than anything else.He was definitely the main reason we got a point.
