I love using a lump of blue-tac as a stress ball while I'm at work, anyone else?

Im not at work this week, but I had a stress ball, untill I ripped it into about 37 pieces....

That's the beauty of blue-tac, you can put it back together. 8)

not me but i did think when i was younger that i could use blue tack as chewing gum!!!

What does happen to blue-tac when you chew it?

It loses it's tac and falls to bits.  I'm not impressed.

Best thing to do with it is try and make it into a dice....well cube...and then u can add the dots if you want. takes a while but passes time.

Yep did that at work once......

We created a two minute blue-tac challenge at work.  

Challenge someone to said activity, whoever makes the best sculpture in two minutes is the winner.  

Passes a couple of minutes, and gets the crative juices flowing, best of all it's free, because work pay for the blue-tac. :soapy tit wank:

i can't remember it falling to bits. But the taste wasn't too good.

A hedge-hog for my first attempt.  I lost as it was rubbish.  Can't remember any others though.

You can also apply the same challenge to paint on your computer.  I won that drawing a Mr. Man.

Of the sculptures?  I'm affraid not, and my adversery has left the company so the potential for more is slim to shady. :cry:

  I do that all the time, its especially exciting if you use the end of a biro middle to make a circular dent then the pen end for a middle....trying to get it perfect centred.

 Then of course there's chamfering the corners as opposed to a perfect edge.

  If I get stressed though like KT I just squeeze  manically.

 Looks like I win then...a lump of blu tac is not that interesting so  I put a program from 1959 to improve it......blu tac die on the left.

You are indeed in pole-position at the moment Reg, it is early days yet though.  I'm sure there will be a challenger offering up a different take on the blue-tac die any moment though.

That is a fine example Marie, have you measured it to make sure it is a perfect cube, it looks very close from here.

this is rather strange.

just this morning in business me and my mate (he's from swindon - perhaps blue-tac was on the mind of Swindonians today) were pissing around with blue-tac. you really can have endless fun with it

okay maybe not endless fun, but at least 30 seconds worth

he told me that white-tac is way way cheaper than blue-tac

meanwhile, the lad that sits behind us (he's also from the swindon area) informed us that the average working week in finland is 33 hours

Blue-tac is great.  I sit with a lump of it in my left hand for most of the day.

The lump itself is not actually 100% blue-tac though because it is often too hard.  White-tac is too soft, and very sticky.

I decided one day to make a hybrid lump mixing white and blue-tac together to make sky-blue-tac.  It is the perfect consistency, and easily maliable.

Try it.

The difference in quality is there for all to see I'm affraid Reg.  Marie has clearly gone to greater lengths to make sure her's is spot on.

But neat symmetry is one thing.....I feel my creativity  in linking the cast of the die to Accrington Stanley, and the vagaries of history is going unnoticed here.

I got a detention as school once due to Blue Tack...... Really.

I just had a lump of it during an especially boring physics class, and whilst fiddling about due to the boredom I just stuck random objects into. The next thing I knew I was hauled up in front of the headmaster for making "A potentially lethal weapon in class".

I weren't happy and rebelled by not attending the detention, which resulted in another detention which I did also not attend and so the saga went on.

Eventually the school gave up (Hooray to me), partly due to the fact that I was generally a good boy at school, and all detentions where forgotten about and the slate wiped clean, provided that I made no more potentially lethal blue tack weapons at schools.

Mind you, if I had used that lump of blue tack as a weapon, it would have really fucking hurt somebody.
