What are your expectations, or hopes for 2009 on and off the pitch?

I personally, hope that we can end this season around mid table, getting out of trouble sooner rather than later.
Then, I hope that money is put into the playing staff over the summer, and we start next season on a high and end the year around the play-offs.

On the pitch, i hope we start putting some effort in. I'm fed up of being out-thought as well as out-fought
Off the pitch, i hope they put Balti pies in the Don and bring Bovril back.

On the pitch, aviod relegation (prob wont happen)

Off the pitch Balti Pies and some decent eye candy in the winners

On the pitch i hope we stay up in the last minute of the last game of the season. Then magically top the league at christmas
Off the pitch i am not totally bothered tbh. Lots of money spent on players would be fun

Beating Leeds and Leicester away and Bristol Rovers at home.

get rid of some of the dead wood - bring in people that actually give 2 hoots

On pitch - progression away from relegation zone over next 1-2months
                 enough of an improvement in performances and squad to bring hope to fans for 09-10 season

Off pitch- Continued improvement in managing our costs
               A decent buyer who can negotiate a good £££ for getting proper child sizes in replica shirts.

Survival should be the only goal this season.

Starting next season well, with some new faces in place of some of the useless cunts we currently endure.

i expect i will be disapointed with stfc in general and wont go to games regularly.

Unless there are dramatic improvements I will see out my season ticket this season and enjoy my weekends off next season doing something more useful.

It was back to Oxo on Tuesday. I wasn't amused.

Not sure whats happening on the Bovril front....bloke in front of me in the queue got OXO I got Bovril, which gave me great pleasure.

For 2009, hopes more than expectations:
- Some initiative is introduced to get some atmosphere back to the CG.
- In play-off zone by Xmas.

In truth, its going to be the same as 2008 isnt it. We'll plod onto the end of the season finishing somewhere in lower mid table it wont bloody matter where exactly because between the bottom four and the top half they're all the same

We will all then look forward to the new season, Wilson will have a chance to bring in his own players. We will release a few players then Wilson will struggle to bring in some new players because we're shit, we pay fuck all wages and we wont pay agents. He'll sign a few questionable players

Some how our expectations will be high after all we did under achieve last season by half a league table. Our fans will expect top 8 and talk about the play offs.

We will start the season with one or two good games which will raise the expectation levels even further followed by a defeat to some shit team no one had even heard of 10 years ago like Cheltenham.

We'll go on a bit of a sticky patch and our fans will get annoyed, the booing will start, the Wilson Out chants will start. He will eventually get sacked around November time and the 3 month search for a new manager will begin.

He will be announced just before the start of the new year and everyone will be dissapointed after Batch's uncles, daughters, boyfriends, hairdresser who got told by her milkman that his auntys best friends dog walker saw Roy Keane sign a contract in walkabout when in truth we've actually appointed Andy King but he has a beard!

On the pitch: Just enough pointage to make us safe please. I couldn't give a flying fuck as to how we play because Ed Hadwin makes it sound as though we are playing like Brazil every match anyway.

Off the pitch: More of the same really. Although I would love for the board to arrange for the pre-season friendlies to be in Thailand, I'd be dead chuffed if that happened.

I think you're getting confused with Free Willy, Mex - an easy mistake in your neck of the woods I'll grant you.

i've reached that point already and i find it very difficult to motivate myself to go, particularly given finances or lack thereof. i can only see myself going to one more game this season and that's because someone else wants to go.


i'd like to see the fans united behind danny wilson and give him time to rebuild. the board to back wilson financially and push the boat out a little bit after such a disappointing season.

the board need to come up with an incentive to increase the appeal of the town end again so we can see it packed week in week out.

i don't expect next season to be amazing, although a play-off push would be nice to keep some interest beyond xmas.

I won 12 million on the Euro Millions. It's not that great axs, you lose the people you thought were your friends and 20 year old bimbos offer you their bodies just to get access to your money.

It's horrible.

Right well this is easy, on the pitch I expect us to avoid relegation, and I also expect Simon Cox to finish in the top 4 goal scorers in league 1 (doesn't matter to me if it is with us or not).

Off the pitch, I expect to hear more about this mythical second concourse in the Don Rogers Stand. I don't like how we have been drip-fed information about this, in fact I am bloody fuming about it.
