Could just be the copper pipes expanding and clicking against the clips or if it's an old radiator it could just be the sections in it heating up.

Stick a lug hole to the loor as it's usually under floorboards where it clicks against something.

It could well be the water running through the rad you are hearing, if it is you may have a small problem with air in the system or even a thermostat gone.  I have the same problem myself and the plumber is coming tomorrow to fix it, check the header tank!

check what in the header tank?
I first noticed a problem when the header tank started to drip on the overflow.  Thinking it was just a ball valve adjustment needed, I bravely ventured into the loft, only to find the header tank was full of WARM water!  Guessing that this was not the norm, I contacted my tame plumber who asked for any other symptoms, all I could mention was the sound of water and ticking in the radiators.  He thinks it is possibly a thermostat gone in the boiler, or if I am really unlucky a problem with the hot water cylinder.

Why do you always have to post such shit? What the fuck has a cuckoo got to do with anything. You seems to have the need to post bollocks on everythread and turn it into a random chat about you. FUCK OFF!
