A little birdy tells me, that Richard Money will 100% be announced as our new manager on Wednesday.

Probably pointless starting a new thread thinking about it now, but i've started typing already :D.
Not really a suprise though in my opinion, hopefully he'll do a good job.

I saw Richard Money in the Waitrose on Marlborough High Street, earlier this evening.

I know what you're thinking, and you're right: I sweat class by shopping in Waitrose.

Great beer selection in there.

To me it sounds like it WAS Calderwood but talks have broken down so they're now moving on to choices two or three. But I'm probably wrong.

Threads like this are the reason i'm an idiot. I still get a bit excited when some categorically states that there will be an announcement confirming something - even though 99 times out of 100 its a load of crap.

Phrases like
"A little bird told me"
"a trusted source"
"he has been right about things in the past"
"he has no reason to lie"

are just all bullshit.
And im not sure if you can be 100% sure about something, then say "if not 200% tommorow".

According to Sky News an appointment will be made before the Yeovil game.

Which narrows it down to Thursday, Friday, or Saturday morning.

Works just as well either way I guess. But it would have to have been WAS Money cos otherwise the Adver (and Reg) would have been wrong when they said it was definitely Money at the weekend. But then that doesn't work either, because if it WAS Money and is no longer, then they'd be wrong for saying he'd got the job.

Sorry, not having a pop at Reg or the Adver - all they've done is report the situation as they understand it. I think I'm trying to illustrate that we don't really KNOW anything much about who the candidates are or were come to that. And trying to construct an identity by logical extrapolation from what little we do know is pretty pointless, on a "plaiting fog" scale.

We're all just going to have to wait until there's a bloke sat at a press conference being presented as our new manager. Then claim we knew it was going to be so and so all along but couldn't say so because we'd been sworn to secrecy.

Well its not, in was in the adver about a week ago.

Hasn't been officially announced yet. Its a media piece. That is all.

Also didnt Fitton say the guy had Championship experience...that would rule Money out.

He was with Coventry in some department or other, wasn't he?

Well he played for Liverpool so i spose hes got European experience as well!
I for one wont be happy if he gets the job,i will probably be in the minority.
