...it's called grit. I recommend you use it for roads and pavements during those cold winter months when it becomes a little dangerous.

It's a bit chilly up here at the moment. 

 It's a bit chilly down here at the moment...I noticed a bit of black ice about this morning.  Fucking lethal.

Durham is rife with black ice at the moment too.... "City" centre was empty yesterday as a result of it and the fact that most of the surrounding villages were snowed in.

Rich couldnt agree more, not as if the conditions came out of the blue , and still no grit. Nightmare getting to work every morning this week.
