Title: Nalis Post by: deltaincline on Wednesday, December 3, 2008, 22:52:32 is leaving STFC in January. Shame we're going to lose another quality player who, with better players around him, would be pure fucking class in this division.
Title: Re: Nalis Post by: yeo on Wednesday, December 3, 2008, 22:54:15 Is he ,how come?
Hes not that good anyway really is he. Title: Re: Nalis Post by: axs on Wednesday, December 3, 2008, 22:58:39 He's old, slow, and not very good.
happy retirement lil. Title: Re: Nalis Post by: Don Rogers Shop on Wednesday, December 3, 2008, 23:02:42 Been just as good as easton and timlin in the middle
Title: Re: Nalis Post by: flammableBen on Wednesday, December 3, 2008, 23:03:12 When Nalis signed I was hoping be an ace midfield leader type, who although probably a bit off the pace would organise and let other parts of his game shine through. A player with the experience to help others around him get the best from their games, not the other way around.
Remember how ace Ian Woan was in his short playing career at town? Talked to players around him, had a footballing intelligence that meant even though he was getting on a bit he picked out positioning so he'd still have a foot or two advantage on more pacey midfielders, and passing ability that still gives me a stiffy when I think about it. Bit of a difference really. Where did you get this bit of info from? Title: Re: Nalis Post by: deltaincline on Wednesday, December 3, 2008, 23:03:23 He's old, slow, and not very good. happy retirement lil. Disagree. He's one of the best play-makers we've got. He might not be that quick anymore, if he ever was, but his vision and ability to see moves that are at least two places ahead would put his name on my team sheet every week. Title: Re: Nalis Post by: deltaincline on Wednesday, December 3, 2008, 23:05:48 Where did you get this bit of info from? Someone I know knows his wife's hairdresser. WAG Salon gossip :D Title: Re: Nalis Post by: pauld on Wednesday, December 3, 2008, 23:11:49 Someone I know knows his wife's hairdresser. WAG Salon gossip :D Oh, the old "My friend's got this problem" routine. Ha - delta's really a hairdresser, probably called Maurice or Pierre. No wonder you swear so much on here, not like you can say "Been anywhere nice for your cunting holidays" when you're doing Mrs Miggins rinse and perm, is it?Title: Re: Nalis Post by: deltaincline on Wednesday, December 3, 2008, 23:17:55 Oh, the old "My friend's got this problem" routine. Nice try, but you're not getting a fucking bite, Pauld. Get back to licking Byrne's bottom, you cunt ;) Title: Re: Nalis Post by: ibelieveinmrreeves on Wednesday, December 3, 2008, 23:32:27 Don't think Nalis leaving would represent any great loss.
Title: Re: Nalis Post by: Bogus Dave on Wednesday, December 3, 2008, 23:32:50 nalis has been a bit of a dissapointment if im honest. Hereford in the on the friday night was probably the one game where he really stood out. You can see he was a good player, but he hasn't got it anymore. its a shame
Title: Re: Nalis Post by: pauld on Wednesday, December 3, 2008, 23:39:27 Nice try, but you're not getting a fucking bite, Pauld. Get back to licking Byrne's bottom, you cunt ;) Nooo, luvvy, it's not too short, brings out your cheekbones, really it does. Having your roots done as well dear?Come on delta, you in charge of collars or cuffs? Title: Re: Nalis Post by: flammableBen on Wednesday, December 3, 2008, 23:41:36 Maybe we should have a TEF rule, where if you say you know something is definitely going to happen but don't back up your "sauce", and then it doesn't happen, you get some sort of punishment. Like a temporary ban, or an anal violation from a team of sweaty TEFers.
Probably not really necessary, we thankfully get fairly few "This is going to happen, trust me" threads. I like the proper "I heard in the pub / from a mate" rumours thereads, they're fun because and you always know to take them with a pinch of salt, and you wouldn't want to put people off speculating on the evidence available, "I think Pearce/Calderwood/Ward fits what Fitton has said the best" sort of thing. I suppose the most annoying ones are where people suddenly proclaim they're opinion as fact and then go on to moan about it. You know "Byrne is going to be appointed manager.... What is Fitton doing? He's shit." style stuff. Not that I'm saying this thread is particularly bad. Got no reason to disbelieve you on this one delta. It's not a particularly big subject so I can't see why you'd be making it up. I was thinking more about management claims and stuff, just this reminded me of it a bit. A bit of a train of thought post really. Always looking for an excuse to ban people. Title: Re: Nalis Post by: deltaincline on Thursday, December 4, 2008, 00:40:48 Title: Re: Nalis Post by: flammableBen on Thursday, December 4, 2008, 00:51:14 I wish. Nothing like a bit of Rusty Trombone.

Like a temporary ban, or an anal violation from a team of sweaty TEFers.... The downside (or should that be the backside?) is that such a rule could cause a proliferation of "this is going to happen, thrust me" threads from certain members. Present company excluded, of course. Title: Re: Nalis Post by: nevillew on Thursday, December 4, 2008, 08:18:42 Surely it falls under the 80% bollocks rule ?
Title: Re: Nalis Post by: Colin Todd on Thursday, December 4, 2008, 09:39:08 Nalis is fucking shit. The new Gareth Whalley. At least he's not on a 3 year deal.
That is all. Title: Re: Nalis Post by: wheretherealredsare on Thursday, December 4, 2008, 13:54:17 Surely it falls under the 80% bollocks rule ? Normally yes, but as herthab ("who ate all the bollocks?") has shorted the testicular market futures somewhat there may well be insufficient gonads available to form a quorum at any upcoming TEF Ruling & Adjudication Committee. Title: Re: Nalis Post by: Bob's Orange on Thursday, December 4, 2008, 14:03:21 The few times I have seen Nalis he has been utter garbage. However I haven't seen him that often so maybe not the best judge.
Title: Re: Nalis Post by: tans on Thursday, December 4, 2008, 14:12:18 He drives a smart car, says it all.
Its not even a new one! Title: Re: Nalis Post by: Colin Todd on Thursday, December 4, 2008, 14:30:08 The few times I have seen Nalis he has been utter garbage. He is garabage Title: Re: Nalis Post by: DV on Thursday, December 4, 2008, 15:01:40 He is like Miglioranzi but without the flair, talent, ability, pace and skill
Title: Re: Nalis Post by: overthehill on Thursday, December 4, 2008, 15:03:04 And he's got a girly name
Title: Re: Nalis Post by: Bob's Orange on Thursday, December 4, 2008, 15:06:16 And he's got a girly name Is Nalis particularly girly? Title: Re: Nalis Post by: Samdy Gray on Thursday, December 4, 2008, 15:09:50 No, but Lilian is.
Title: Re: Nalis Post by: overthehill on Thursday, December 4, 2008, 15:10:15 Try Lilian
Title: Re: Nalis Post by: ron dodgers on Thursday, December 4, 2008, 15:39:48 and get Stefani free
Title: Re: Nalis Post by: axs on Thursday, December 4, 2008, 17:37:41 Been just as good as easton and timlin in the middle That doesn't disprove my point. Title: Re: Nalis Post by: Kinky Tom on Thursday, December 4, 2008, 22:34:51 We just don't have the players around him, if we had a decent CM who would look to break then he might be an asset but as we only have CMs that look to sit in he's not given any other option but to go sideways really.
I think in a better team he'd be able to show off a bit more and introduce a bit of swagger to the play but as we are I really don't think he can fit in. Also, why not shoot once in a while? Title: Re: Nalis Post by: stfctownenda on Friday, December 5, 2008, 08:32:42 Personally just think he is too old now, way off the pace and sluggish.
