Title: Colin Calderwood
Post by: Tails on Thursday, November 27, 2008, 08:26:14
Apparently due to be sacked very shortly with Billy Davies an immediate replacement.

Reckon he'll try his luck here??? Forest are quite odd, they have a heated rivalry with Derby yet they've signed three of their rejects and now their old manager to boot. If the rumours are true that is.

He may have already applied in the knowledge he will get sacked. Wait and see I guess. Would probably be too late for him to apply now though surely?

Defo do not want CC in charge, think that he'd blow his legendary status if he came back.

A Dream Team of Colin with Lou as assistant would be nice

On what basis is that a dream team?

A manager who struggles to get free spending teams promoted, assisted by a bloke who hasnt been invloved in management for 15 years.

I'd rather have malpas back.

On reflection I think you were :fishing:

Worked out okay for them the last time they took an ex-Derby manager :-)

Hardly ground-breaking is it?

We've had more shitheads sign for us in the last 3 or 4 years, and some go the other way, than I care to recall. Bar Christian Roberts all shite as well, we've been mugged! At least we shafted them with Grunt Sniff!

To be fair Dave I think the Forest/Derby rivalry is in a different league to us and city.

True. It's still not really new though is it. Harry Redknapp, Sol Campbell, Wayne Rooney, Tommy Mooney - all these spring to mind to start with.

Yeah it happens more and more these days.  Long gone are the days where rivals wouldn't sign each others players (or at least it was a rarity) - Oh and on your list you forget the one and only, Joey Beauchamp.

Joey doesn't count because he blatantly wasn't a footballer.
