I might be pretty geeky but I've never steeped to the lows of building models of shit.

DanJackson got a visible boner when  he overheard me talking about the TEF with someone else. I think that makes him the ultimate homo-erotic model building geek.

I don't think that is geek-worthy - unless you ALSO spent about 36 hours dressed as a warlord last night queueing up for the latest world of warcraft game. ;D

WOW was pretty geeky when it first came out but it's too mainstream now. Proper geeks play MUDs

what would be well geeky is building a model of your internet freinds then painting the same in the townend colours.

That sounds like the sort of thing JFW would go crazy for. Only if her model had permable eyelashes though.

Seriously though, angband is where it's at. I like nppAngband, one of the variants. Ralphy XXXVII the Hobbit Rogue was rinsing it out earlier, found a rod of speed stupidly out of depth, an artifact sling which boosted speed and shooting power as well as intelligence and dexterity, an ace speed boosting cloack with acid resistance and an intelligence boosting helm with confusion resist.  Then that bastard Bill the Stone Troll summoned up loads of his mates and I tried one too many moves instead using a staff teleport and got fucked by them throwing boulders.

That was a good several hours wasted.

That was a bit of a geeky tirade so I've made up for it by drinking beer straight out of a big box of beer. A polypin(?!) of Black Arrow from The Archers Brewery. Fucking ace.
