to be honest Malpas wont have a say in this, if Fitton wants money Fitton will sell Cox no matter what Malpas wants, and if Cox wants to leave it would be hard to keep a player who doesnt wanna be at the club. Malpas is saying this shit to get the fans on his side so he doesnt get the shit aimed at him when Cox leaves.

Everyone knows Cox wants to play at the highest level. I just hope he stays till the end of the season.

I'm confident we wont sell him January. Fitton must of realised by now that without Cox, we're screwed. If Fitton is going to achieve his aim of us being in The Championship in 3 years of whatever he said, he can't afford to sell Cox until the end of the season.
I think its pretty obvious that this will be Cox's last season with us though.

In fairness as JPC said it may not be his choice. But I still don't think we'll sell Cox in January because if we do the earth's crust will start to crumble and we'll be bombarded with super rays from outer space before being raped in our beds by Polish zombies
