Title: Barry Corr. Post by: herthab on Wednesday, October 29, 2008, 13:39:11 According to the WDP, he received a back injury against Oldham and would not have made the bench last night.
Title: Re: Barry Corr. Post by: Rich Pullen on Wednesday, October 29, 2008, 13:41:45 I'd say this regardless but I think Barry Corr is finished - two niggly injuries since his last big injury and he only played 15 minutes on Saturday. It's not looking good for him.
Title: Re: Barry Corr. Post by: janaage on Wednesday, October 29, 2008, 13:44:35 He didn't do anything against Oldham to get injured did he?
Title: Re: Barry Corr. Post by: Fred Elliot on Wednesday, October 29, 2008, 13:45:15 he doesnt need to Jan
Title: Re: Barry Corr. Post by: janaage on Wednesday, October 29, 2008, 13:46:18 Oh yeah, forgot about that rather important point Fred!
Title: Re: Barry Corr. Post by: Rich Pullen on Wednesday, October 29, 2008, 13:46:50 Has there been a more brittle Swindon footballer?
Title: Re: Barry Corr. Post by: herthab on Wednesday, October 29, 2008, 13:47:41 There was one hard challenge that he seemed to come out of ok.
Obviously not. Blair was gonna be sub last night, as Joyce was also unfit. Title: Re: Barry Corr. Post by: Batch on Wednesday, October 29, 2008, 14:11:05 Has there been a more brittle Swindon footballer? Gareth Davis runs him close. He was a ginger defender we got from Reading (1999) in case anyone forgot. I once saw a game where he pulled a hamstring by heading the ball back to the keeper. Then, later in his Town career his knee fell off. True story (except the knee bit). Title: Re: Barry Corr. Post by: Rich Pullen on Wednesday, October 29, 2008, 14:13:31 Gareth Davis runs him close. Good call - when I was at Chippenham college I used to see him strut around town (early afternoon usually) in his Swindon tracksuit all the time. He was rarely fully fit. Title: Re: Barry Corr. Wasn't he always referred to as Gareth Davies (groin) in teletext. I preferred to call him Gareth 'Ping' Davies...gave away a pen at Grimsby once, twat. Title: Re: Barry Corr. Post by: nochee on Wednesday, October 29, 2008, 18:16:16 So strange the guy is always ok and apparently performs well for the reserves.
Title: Re: Barry Corr. Post by: Spencer_White on Wednesday, October 29, 2008, 19:21:24 Bristol bastards. Its all lies!
Title: Re: Barry Corr. Post by: STFC_Gazza on Saturday, November 15, 2008, 18:18:39 Dare I say it.... Is Corr finally fit? Ok he hasn't played loads but played the full 90 against Brighton and has been playing quite a bit recently...
Title: Re: Barry Corr. Post by: my-velocity on Saturday, November 15, 2008, 18:20:31 Let's hope he bangs in a few at rovers next saturday. Coxy is out isn't he?
Title: Re: Barry Corr. Post by: STFC_Gazza on Saturday, November 15, 2008, 18:22:04 Indeed he is...
Title: Re: Barry Corr. Post by: reeves4england on Saturday, November 15, 2008, 18:51:13 Corr and Paynter up front then? Can't see Blair or Ben Joyce playing, so I guess it's going to be an afternoon of long balls and (hopefully) getting crosses in to the box
Title: Re: Barry Corr. Post by: Bogus Dave on Sunday, November 16, 2008, 10:14:22 great finish
Title: Re: Barry Corr. Post by: Samdy Gray on Sunday, November 16, 2008, 13:08:12 And he did an overhead kick and then got up without his leg/arm/head falling off!
Title: Re: Barry Corr. Post by: Spencer_White on Saturday, November 22, 2008, 19:58:25 Barry Corr loves to score.
Title: Re: Barry Corr. Post by: pauld on Saturday, November 22, 2008, 19:59:56 Barry Corr loves to score. He was bloody great today.Title: Re: Barry Corr. Post by: axs on Sunday, November 23, 2008, 01:24:52 seconded.
Title: Re: Barry Corr. Post by: donkey on Sunday, November 23, 2008, 09:09:33 seconded. Sure was...he even survived falling over without major surgery requierd. As many have said before, a fit Barry Corr is a huge asset to the club. Title: Re: Barry Corr. Post by: Bushey Boy on Sunday, November 23, 2008, 09:32:51 I would love to see corr and cox up front with Billy behind them, thats enough to scare any defence
My word the two of them linked up well I think Corr could play at a much higher level if he was always fit, as specer said in teh car he wont get a big move as he is so prone to injury so he could go on to be like a parkin for this club. Bieng honest we all know Cox is off sooner or later and those two could be a great match |
