Title: Re: FAO Arachnophobics Post by: Danjackson10 on Thursday, October 23, 2008, 07:21:17 The role of a man is to dispose of a spider swiftly and without fear! If you cant do that you have to question yourself! Its up there with opening jam jars for a girl!

Title: Re: FAO Arachnophobics Post by: land_of_bo on Thursday, October 23, 2008, 16:45:49 I'd move out if I saw that!
Title: Re: FAO Arachnophobics Post by: janaage on Thursday, October 23, 2008, 16:50:45 http://www.myextralife.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/01/spider-hell.jpg imagine seeing this in your bedroom of a morning it's all those little ones that'd make me a bit "urgh", one wallop with a shoe and the biggie's dead, the small ones will scatter and I'd make a sharp exit to the pub for a few hours, to erm, collect my thoughts. A few pints later I get home, find the hoover and get those little feckers, before they get me! Title: Re: FAO Arachnophobics Post by: land_of_bo on Thursday, October 23, 2008, 17:03:42 That big'un would jump and shit though. OK, if I could drop a really big book on it I'd probably be OK...just.

Title: Re: FAO Arachnophobics Post by: axs on Thursday, October 23, 2008, 19:51:43 I went into an abandoned missile silo cave type thing in spain once, we wondered what the mossy looking stuff on the walls was until it started moving. It was literally (and I mean literally as in the bit is properly true) hundreds of thousands of big but thin spiders lining the whole thing.
I've got a photo somewhere, I'll try and find it. Title: Re: FAO Arachnophobics Post by: oxford_fan on Thursday, October 23, 2008, 21:04:00 oo oo find it

Title: Re: FAO Arachnophobics Post by: RobertT on Thursday, October 23, 2008, 23:34:43 That photo with all the babies is either in a spider lovers house or an abandoned one set-up for it. There would be an egg sack the size of Chippenham hanging in the corner of the room long enough for you to knock the shit out of it before they hatched. Not that I condone the mass slaughter of innocent small uinborn creatures of the 8 legged variety.
I'm not so keen on the buggers being on me but I am the house assault weapon for all creepy crawlies as assigned by the wife. The scorpion in our towel in Florida was a test of character but turns out they aren't that quick and shoes do an equally good job on them. Killing a scorpion with some sort of footwear is something I want to do before I die. I quite fancy spearing one with a stiletto (sp?) or something but to do that I'll either need to take up cross dressing or find a missus from the high society who wear heels in the desert. Title: Re: FAO Arachnophobics Post by: Mexicano Rojo on Saturday, October 25, 2008, 00:05:25 i used to go to a place called mazunte on the mexican pacific and in the evening scorpions used to take a stroll along the beach and sometimes wander into the bar. I once coughed up my corona watching a bar man killing a scorpion by stamping on it with his bare feet.
