and what the hootin hell happened to kerry gilbert? he featured regularly for the arse at one stage, looked decent, but now has completely dropped off the face of the earth after a loan spell at somewhere like cardiff?

Gilbert is on a season-long loan deal at Leicester. has been playing right back week in week out and is still highly regarded.

As i am sure you know, Wilshere is your man, he's only 16 still absolutely mustard. Manu Frimpong is another one, also 16 and has been playing regularly for the ressys.

There's all the usual ones though. people liek fran merida, gavin hoyte, kieran gibbs and rui fonte. all get in the carling cup side but probably wont ever quite make the grade at Arsenal.

Francis Couquelin the new lad looks the business aswell, low centre of gravity, tigerish central midfielder, could go far.

Also look out for Rhys Murphy, 17 years old, freescoring for England u-19s and just back from injury. i interviewed him yesterday and for such a youngster he's really got his head screwed on.

You should have spoke to them and offered your services to them,being as you watch alot of reserve stuff up there.

was quality at millwall but he will never make it at AFC.

I'm doing a sit-down feature with him for the mag which im quite looking forward to but he definetely isn't good enough.

Rene Steer is a young Arsenal left back as in Thomas Cruise  :nod:

Rodgers, Ogogo and Steer have all been released by Arsenal providing they get another club .. so likely to be one of these.

Rodgers is a good centre half/right back - would be good
Ogogo - right back / right winger .. not convinced about him
Steer - half decent left back .. slightly better than Yinka ..

How often do you watch their reserves? Is there an Arsenal Tv channel - or do you watch them at Underhill? Or are you completely guessing?

Rodgers, Ogogo and a lad called James Dunne went to Forest on trial at the same time and Dunney got himself a deal but the other two didnt.

Hope its neither....not a fan of loan deals at all,lets go and invest a few quid and buy a good left back...getting one on loan just means the problem will rise again after said loan deal runs out,was going to spend 125,000 on Mulgrew so there must be a decent left back knocking around for that price surely.

I watch the reserve and youth games on Arsenal TV ... personally Id not bother with any of these 3 .. Dunne might have been ok .. but Forest got him already.

All 3 highly rated by Wenger, Seen Gibb play for EnglandU19 at the CG, was very impressive.

agree with Derby .. Gilles Sunu would be a good one to get on loan too  -Its Mark Randall btw

Gibbs has been the reserves' most consistent player this season and has earned himself call-ups to the squad, travelled to Fener etc. he's clichy's understudy and as such, will never play for swindon.

Randall was at Burnley last year so he has had his loan.

Guess Lansbury might happen. he'll be out on loan this year or next. he's a good player and stuff, not half as good as he thinks but he is the england u19s captain.
