Of course. Ignore the fact we beat Swansea and Plymouth reserves..................

So what? We beat Swansea 8-0 in the reserves a few years ago and both teams had strong teams out. It means sweet FA.

Touch embarrasing conceding 7 even if it is the reserves, I assume it was a reasonably strong team from us as well - strange that there is nothing on the OS about it

As I understand it from a Shitty supporter this wasn't really a Reserve Team match. It was something hastely organised and played behind closed doors. Not even sure where it was played. Any one Know any more about it?

i know a bit, wasnt an official reserve game, just a friendly match but had a decent team out

GK: Phil Smith

RB: Nathan Thompson
LB Callum Kennedy
CB: Yinka Casal
CB: Tom Evans

RM: Mark Marshall (I Think)
CM: JP McGovern
CM: Chrissy Allen
LM: Anthony McNamee

FW: Barry Corr
FW: Ben Joyce (I Think)

Phil Smith was blatantly at fault for a couple of goals, and maybe could have done better on a couple more, McNamee came off after having a asthma attack, Trundle made Yinka look a cunt, ripped him apart all game

hmmm.   Casal at CB, no wonder we conceeded 7.

I'm still trying to give the bloke a chance but the early signs are that he simply cant defend for shit.

Very coachable they said when they signed him.

Theyve got to coach Jerel Ifil back to being one of the best defenders in the league first.

He did well at Hereford though, never put a foot wrong all game.

Guessing Brez will be in goal tomorrow then, I would imagine after his mistakes, getting dropped and now conceding 7 Smith must be in pieces.

I think that Casal will probably ocme good but needs time to adapt to L1 football, I also wonderi f he would be better in midfield though as a wide player

I heard the City side was pretty strong, as they have no game this weekend, still 7 must be a bit soul destroying for PS and the defence.

How do you know all the last bit about Smith/Yinka etc when you don't even know the team? Did this even happen? There's not even anything on the City website other than a report to say they're young reserve team played out a goalless draw on the same day. Maybe City played a first team as they have no game this week?

I don't doubt the validity of JPC's source(s) but what I am sceptical of is the little 'add-ons'.

Ok we lost 7-2 in a meaningless, behind closed doors, hastily arranged friendly with shitty. That I believe 100%.

But he then goes on to repeat other peoples impressions of aspects of the game. That's the bit that I'm dubious about. If the people he spoke to are the same moaning bastards who feed him all the anti Malpas stuff they're hardly going to be positive, are they?

I'm not listening to any more players opinions on anything. We all know most of them are extremely slow witted and find it difficult to formulate complex thought patterns.......
