Title: Huddersfield game
Post by: Don Rogers Shop on Tuesday, October 7, 2008, 21:34:40
I really hope malpas sticks with the same outfield 10 again saturday, a stable team imo is very important. Fair play to malpas tonight i blame him when we lose only right i give him the praise he deserves tonight.

I hope we can turn the corner even though it's a lot to ask at this stage. You never know though if we can stop the home rot on Saturday that will do us a world of good.

Which keeper though flappy 1 or flappy 2

Good that we have a settled team dont mind if McNamee keeps his place on the bench as well.

Peacock in the middle!

I am never negative rich i would like to think i say it how i see it unlike others who base their opinions on malpas because they dont like him personally

I want to see McNamee starting-drop Nalis

I'd keep the exact same team.

Drop Macca for a bit. Won't be popular at home but if we do need an impact sub Malpas can bring him on and hopefully the time off the pitch will make him try that extra bit (like it did with Peacock who was previously off the pace).

Can't be bothered to analyse team structures - just want something to cheer about at home

I think that's a pretty fair appraisal.Huddersfield under Stan Ternent will be long ball and physical

for sure, better to start off with some battlers and Macca to come off the bench,if and when the

need arises.

That would be two good away wins now if it wasn't for our keepers,If we get this sorted we will shoot up the table' Im optimistic again now i think we will beat huddersfield, if we keep the same team,Timlin seems to be playing well again too.

Although the legs are gone i think nalis allows the others to play, midfield is very weak if its nalis and another with two natural wingers

Official site says season ticket holders can get an extra ticket each for £5, which is good because I have a couple of mates who fancy a day of football...

I like Nalis....others in midfield should be working there bollox of to give him the all to make that killer pass....but thats got to be in the opponents half, not on the edge of our own box.

I want flappy son of flappy in goal

Trouble with Nalis for me is that he's quite clearly trying to do the right thing - nice simple passes etc but far too often he gives the ball away when doing this, he looks like a player but one who's slightly off form at the moment.

Plus the Robinettes will be performing outside the ground before the gameand also at half time. Happy days.

As someone mentioned earlier, performing outside at half time is the best place for them.

I saw a film about cheerleaders once, it was called The Pom-Pom Penetrator.... and it contained stuff you wouldnt want to see at any half-time show.... (or perhaps it did, I don't feel I know you all well enough to gauge your tastes)

Same team, with either flappy in goal.

We need a battling, bust a gut team out there on Saturday.

I was listening to Ian Wight Wright Wright on the way home from work t'other day. He said that when everything was going to sh*t on the pitch and they couldn't get the ball he'd chase the defenders down all day long. Eventually one would make a mistake, the crowd would get a lift, and so would the team from the crowd.

That's what we need right now, 100% fight and commitment and sod the pretty stuff. I think the team we had out in our last two games are the besst equipped for this.
