Title: The Lateish Night Thread Post by: STFC4LIFE on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, 20:25:36 A bit early I know, but i'm bored.
I just lost money at poker, only a fiver, I lost on threee jacks, got beat by a flush, poor me. We won football in our first league at college today though, 5.0 and won 2.1 in the cup yesterday. Good times. Is it me or has the forum got quieter since the change? There doesn't seem to be as much happening any more. I'm waffling now, anyone done anything interesting today? Title: Re: The Lateish Night Thread Post by: flammableBen on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, 20:30:09 Should be always weary of the flush draw with the trips. And the straight draw obviously. Of course the dream is to house up.
One of my old housemates from uni was down to his last couple of hundred quid in the world a few weeks ago. As you do (well lots of my old uni mates do anyway) he was playing online poker with it. He hit a straight flush and beat someone with quad J's. Pretty nice hand as things go anyway, but the bigness is his cut of the bad beat bonus. He got £10000. The dude he beat got £20000. Don't think that many sites do bad beat jackpots any more, lucky cunt. Title: Re: The Lateish Night Thread Post by: axs on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, 20:31:04 nope. hope someone else has.

Title: Re: The Lateish Night Thread Post by: flammableBen on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, 20:40:26 Ebay Christmas trees? I normally get dragged off to some farm somewhere to help get it into the car. As a kid I think we used to head off to Savernake Forest or somewhere near to get one. Wasn't so bad, used to get a coke and a packet of crisps at the pub.

Title: Re: The Lateish Night Thread Post by: flammableBen on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, 20:48:04 Twenty five past night is not lateish. It's 25 past night and the light's are low,It may be early yet but let's let things flow. Might as well start a late night thread, What's going down with my buddies on the TEF. Twenty-five past night, yeah. Twenty-five past night, yeah. Twenty-five past night, yeah. Chillin' with my buddies let's let things flow. I'm a lyrical fucking genius. And you Si are my muse. Title: Re: The Lateish Night Thread Post by: Simon Pieman on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, 20:48:41 Haha I edited it. Maybe I need an early night. Or to stop browsing the internet and watching tv in a different window at the same time.
Title: Re: The Lateish Night Thread Post by: Simon Pieman on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, 20:49:00 No Ben, you are someone with a lot of time on your hands.
Title: Re: The Lateish Night Thread Post by: axs on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, 20:49:17 like Salma Hayek?
Title: Re: The Lateish Night Thread Post by: Simon Pieman on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, 20:50:29 I did mean that in the nicest possible way of course.
Title: Re: The Lateish Night Thread Post by: axs on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, 20:51:00 I meant in response to you being his muse.
Title: Re: The Lateish Night Thread Post by: flammableBen on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, 20:51:11 No Ben, you are someone with a lot of time on your hands. If you don't have 3 and a half minutes to spend being a lyrical genius each day, then you need to make more time baby. Title: Re: The Lateish Night Thread Post by: STFC4LIFE on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, 20:51:49 I'm so fucking bored, shall I go and get some food from the shop?
Hmmmm Title: Re: The Lateish Night Thread Post by: axs on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, 20:52:17 If you don't have 3 and a half minutes to spend being a lyrical genius each day, then you need to make more time baby. Is that Dr Who's kid? Title: Re: The Lateish Night Thread Post by: axs on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, 20:52:52 I'm so fucking bored, shall I go and get some food from the shop? Hmmmm Yes. get a StarBar. This post was sponsored by herthab. Title: Re: The Lateish Night Thread Post by: Simon Pieman on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, 20:53:01 I'm actually spending my time looking for some new glasses. Unfortunately the cost has proven an oversight.
Title: Re: The Lateish Night Thread Post by: flammableBen on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, 20:53:55 Is that Dr Who's kid? She's fit. Doesn't look much like Si though, or Selma Hayek. And she's more of a clone. Title: Re: The Lateish Night Thread Post by: axs on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, 20:54:19 not a time baby or a muse then?
Title: Re: The Lateish Night Thread Post by: STFC4LIFE on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, 20:54:34 What the fuck is a StarBar?

I just worked out that if i hit "new" it takes me straight to the next post after the one i last read! How clever... i cannot believe its taken me this long to find! Get a wispa. Title: Re: The Lateish Night Thread Post by: axs on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, 20:57:37 availlable from all good confectionery outlets and woolworths.
Title: Re: The Lateish Night Thread Post by: flammableBen on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, 20:59:03 I gave up on tv too. The Restaurant was quite good. I like the crazy big eared dude. I hope he doesn't go out.
Title: Re: The Lateish Night Thread Post by: STFC4LIFE on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, 21:00:38 Are they nice?
It's only a Co-op though? Title: Re: The Lateish Night Thread Post by: Simon Pieman on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, 21:00:48 Theres nothing on tv tonight. I just worked out that if i hit "new" it takes me straight to the next post after the one i last read! How clever... i cannot believe its taken me this long to find! Get a wispa. 2 episodes of Heroes then some Family Guy is good enough for me. I rarely watch telly, adverts infuriate me and the programmes tend to be much of a muchness. Title: Re: The Lateish Night Thread Post by: axs on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, 21:01:56 Are they nice? It's only a Co-op though? they are nice, co-op should suffice. if not start a protest. By the northern bloke are you talking about the same one as me? The dude who's oven broke? I think he's ace. It's a good watch, but they don't do enough about the food or the actual running of the restaurants, hopefully it will get better when they have less people in. The challenges are good fun. I felt bad for the daughter who went out last week, her dad was hopeless, and she was the most attractive person in it. It will have to tide me over for bitchy culinary restaurant programmes until Ramsay gets off his arse and does another UK Kitchen Nightmares. The American one sucks big time. Title: Re: The Lateish Night Thread Post by: axs on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, 21:10:36 I went to your dad's plaace a couple of weeks ago. hope he didn't mind me calling him 'Ben's Dad'
Title: Re: The Lateish Night Thread Post by: flammableBen on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, 21:13:59 hahaha did you? ace.
I've heard it's been shit since I left. They don't even bother to open on Mondays any more. Title: Re: The Lateish Night Thread Post by: axs on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, 21:15:34 it was fine when i was there, food was good, beer was good. was quite busy but was a friday lunchtime. and afternoon.
Title: Re: The Lateish Night Thread Post by: flammableBen on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, 21:18:23 Think I might wander round tomorrow and see if anybody's about to supply me with numerous free beer and maybe some lunch. Depending on what time I get up.
Title: Re: The Lateish Night Thread Post by: flammableBen on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, 21:21:54 it was fine when i was there, food was good, beer was good. was quite busy but was a friday lunchtime. and afternoon. You went there and didn't try the large variety of Spanish wines? I'm ashamed of you axs. Some of them are rather good. Title: Re: The Lateish Night Thread Post by: larwood on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, 21:22:09 Maybe he's not northern.I really have a rubbish ear when it comes to accents :-[
But yeah its him and he is annoying. He's got a slappable face and he never shuts up, i've barely heard his partner speak. All in all i think they are all pretty unlikeable. But its still interesting to see them mess up and try and cope with the pressure.Blanc and the other judges are amusing. The woman judge has astonishing hair. Title: Re: The Lateish Night Thread Post by: Miss Angry on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, 21:23:54 they are nice, co-op should suffice. if not start a protest. Which co-op is it? im pretty sure starbars are carried in most ranges but i think they might have closed whilst you were deciding. Title: Re: The Lateish Night Thread Post by: axs on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, 21:32:27 You went there and didn't try the large variety of Spanish wines? I'm ashamed of you axs. Some of them are rather good. It was early in the day and I hadn't eaten. and no-one else was drinking red. Title: Re: The Lateish Night Thread Post by: flammableBen on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, 21:36:39 they've got a sherry special offer on at the moment, if anybody likes the sherry.
Title: Re: The Lateish Night Thread Post by: flammableBen on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, 23:56:11 I'm drinking sherry now. ace.
