a mere £14.98 too. i've downloaded the additional buses too, can't believe they've not put the Leyland MP12, Mercedes TBx or Renault SuperBus on there though!

I'm not really interested in driving, more in bus route planning. I'd like a game where you can be in charge of bus planning for an entire city. Would be ace.

I know there's games where you can do it with trains, but I want busses!!!!

put it this way, they dont call it the "realistic first person driving simulaton" for nothing! yes its realistic! just like driving a bus, i'd imagine (i have never driven a bus).

they've linked the game into First Buses (boooo!) website so you can type in a city and desired route number (top tip: Norwich route 25 is a blinder! includes 4 roundabouts, a zebra crossing and no fewer than twelve stops to make!).

On a more serious note, Football Manager is one huge massive waste of time isn't it?

I can't play the new ones so I'm playing old CM's instead.

Does anybody else like to only use prime numbers when numbering your squad?

Title: Re: i've given up on football manager
Post by: Rich Pullen on Tuesday, September 30, 2008, 18:48:05
But after the first 10 or so numbers you start getting to whacky Italianesque numbers!

When I make a new signing after submitting all the good numbers, the new guy tends to get a big number. It's quite funny watching Rafael van der Vaart 99 running around for my Marseilles team.

Can anyone recommend any absolute gems for my Benfica team? Cheap (under £3m) young players ideally.

So far i've captured Lulinha, Bruno Formigoni, and Kerlon who are all mint.

Daniel Pudil is class at around 3mill a good left midfield/winger.
Braulio at Salamanca is a fantastic Spainish U21 striker who scores bagfulls.
Christian Pulhac a Romanian Left Back at Dinamo is very good too and all available well under 3 mill.

You bastard.

I downloaded it based on this (non)fact. Thought I'd be able to drive the old 267 home from Bath but you lie (and I'm gullible).

It's shit as well. Got bored after killing my first 2 passengers.

If it is a new game then Aquino.

you have to wait a couple of years for him to develop, but he can be picked up on the cheap and is now my top scorer (In the Prem) for 3 seasons and has the European golden boot.

The lad just loves to score goals, he fackin loves it he does.

I'm still waiting for the stuck behind a bus simulator. I saw it on Family Guy once, obviously it hasn't made it's way to the UK yet. Could you keep us updated oxford fan?

Oh and the best way to win things on FM2008 is to go into the database and make all Swindon's players brilliant. I've got a team of world class players and I haven't paid a penny! Smith stills drops the odd howler though unfortunately.
