Might be handy, can play accross the midfield or up front.

Think he's one that would benefit from some consistant first team action.  If Howard departs could be a useful replacement.

Wasn't anything to do with the old Reading player Roger Smee by any chance?

 He was the fella who saved Reading from Maxwell and the Thames Valley Royals, who wanted to amalgamate them with the scum and move to Didcot......would definitely have been in the Prem now though.
