Title: start spreading the news... Post by: Leggett on Tuesday, September 9, 2008, 07:27:14 I'm after some advice folks. off to New York in a couple of weeks with my family, my mum has been busily stocking up on travel guides and what have you, i was wondering if anyone could reccommend any "off the beaten track" stuff, nice bars, cool stuff etc. the boy Chubbs was gonna post some stuff up but since he's moved into Bennett's lovenest he's fairly conspicuous by his absence...

I was there for St Patrick's Day Parade 4 years ago. There were 10 year old school kids carrying "England out of Ireland" banners in the parade. I had my doubts they even knew where Ireland is, but they seemed to dislike the English anyway. Title: Re: start spreading the news... What part of England would that be? Or are they confusing England for Britain? And wasn't Northern Ireland forceably populated with lots of Scots (or did I dream that bit)? |
