Title: Re: Division One today Post by: Iffy's Onion Bhaji on Saturday, September 6, 2008, 17:53:59 Leeds on form just in time then.
Title: Re: Division One today Post by: A Gent Orange on Saturday, September 6, 2008, 17:57:24 Leeds did get a man sent off in the 90+. Bans kick in immediately now don't they?
Title: Re: Division One today Post by: Reg Smeeton on Saturday, September 6, 2008, 18:07:10 Must have been a cracker... i watched it on Sky...to use the old cliche a good advert for L1...end to end attacking football, some dodgy defending and players generally being honest in their efforts. Given that Posh have a forward thinking chairman, a promising manager and a clutch of players who they've bought for sizeable fees, the crowd was pathetic. Next to no atmosphere....OK early KO's don't help. Personally I rather watch a game like that than some of the dross that gets served up in the Prem. Title: Re: Division One today Post by: Lumps on Saturday, September 6, 2008, 19:26:59 Leeds on form just in time then. That's they're home form. Away in the league they've managed to scrap a 2-1 win against Scunthorpe with a late goal and only managed a 1-1 draw with Yeovil. Take 3 points from that game though and I think we can be very happy with ourselves, although the usual suspects on this is will still moan. True and they were playing Crewe who are total shite away from home. Title: Re: Division One today Post by: Rich Pullen on Saturday, September 6, 2008, 21:34:24 True and they were playing Crewe who are total shite away from home. Leeds fell asleep at the end too. 2 injury time goals conceded. Oh and Kettering fielded Exodus Geohaghan today, what a cool name. Title: Re: Division One today Post by: dell boy on Sunday, September 7, 2008, 11:55:00 I thought Leeds had only taken 4 points from three home games and 4 points from two away games, by those stats they are better or as good away as home!

Yeah but it's only at home they've racked up the headline grabbing big scores |
