Title: Re: Leeds in trouble...again... Post by: Summerof69 on Wednesday, September 3, 2008, 14:04:48 deduct them another 15 points. the reaction would be hilarious Well Luton got penalised 10 points for unauthorised payments to agents...so hopefully that's not out of the question. Title: Re: Leeds in trouble...again... Post by: Leggett on Wednesday, September 3, 2008, 14:08:53 it'll be a fine at most.
Title: Re: Leeds in trouble...again... Post by: Arriba on Wednesday, September 3, 2008, 14:17:54 what about what manure did with berbatov?
they bought spurs silence after illegally approaching the player and doing a medical etc. Title: Re: Leeds in trouble...again... Leeds say the dealt with him but made no payment to him. I say points deduction, they can then print the 'real league table' for the rest of the season. Title: Re: Leeds in trouble...again... Post by: Leggett on Wednesday, September 3, 2008, 14:29:18 re: the berbatov thing, manure are saying they did no wrong as when the Yids gave berbatov permission to go to manchester for talks, they didnt specify who with tho...
Title: Re: Leeds in trouble...again... Post by: Arriba on Wednesday, September 3, 2008, 14:34:39 spurs were complaining all day that they hadn't exepted a fee, nor given manu permission to talk to berbatov.
after the deal was done they shut up.man u paid them to shut them up.without spurs making a complaint it wont be followed up now. Title: Re: Leeds in trouble...again... I'd agree there, surely Berbatov was given permission to talk to Man City as they had agreed a fee, not Man U, but it was obviously setup by Berbatov's agent as Ferguson met him at the airport to take him to their tranining ground so he had no intention of going to City. But Spurs have got the young Man U striker on loan which was proabably to keep them quiet and have bottled making a complaint, just like they did about Liverpool as well. Stam even said they make an illegal aproach for him in his book.
Title: Re: Leeds in trouble...again... Post by: DerbyRed on Wednesday, September 3, 2008, 17:15:22 They make these illegal approaches and then moan like fuck when other clubs do it to them (e.g. Ronaldo & Real Madrid).
As always one rule for the big clubs in the Premiershit and another rule for everyone else! Title: Re: Leeds in trouble...again... Title: Re: Leeds in trouble...again... Post by: Nemo on Wednesday, September 3, 2008, 18:41:09 Berbatov flew to Manchester of his own accord, possibly saying that he was having talks with Man City (Who had a bid accepted) and was picked up/kidknapped according to what you read by Alex Ferguson at the airport and driven to Carrington.

Post by: juddie on Wednesday, September 3, 2008, 22:08:40 and spurs are saints aren't they?! They bought bostock for nothing despite jordan not wanting to sell at Palace. Everyone's at it, that's football, sadly.
And you think spurs are blameless in this? Why do you think they accepted a bid from city in the first place? Because it was the best way they'd get United to hurry the deal through and for more money. They had no intention of selling him to City whatsoever. It was all played in public to make sure United paid over £30m. United offered £26m, they get an extra four. cnutish but good business. 90% of people running top flight football clubs are idiots, all as bad as each other. Title: Re: Leeds in trouble...again... Post by: Simon Pieman on Wednesday, September 3, 2008, 22:22:24 Eh, that doesn't make sense. They had to offload a player who didn't want to play for them. Of course they accepted Man City's offer because they wanted the money, no matter who it was from.
