How long to drive there from Swindon?

Anyone going by train? I'm in Reading that day, right next to the station so may be tempted as the rail fare looks cheap enough.

Hour and a half in theory. Though at that time of day who knows.

Just looked at the prices from Bath to Aldershot on thetrainline.com, £11.90 for two singles. Seems too good to be true so I'm wondering what I've missed.

If you're not travelling peak times it will be cheap.

Fair enough. Few years since I travelled on the train any further than swindon anyway.

only 45 minutes from me, almost local! plus another ground to mark off the 92.

It isnt as easy by train as it looks. You have to get the Guildford train then change and go back up the line again.

Could be even cheaper with a bit of 4 for 2 action.

Yeah it looks like you have to change after Reading at Ash, shouldn't be too much hassle. Getting back will be more fun though.

No. At the moment weve got no motivation/determination away from home. You're always going to have to win away at some stage to have a cup run.

But that doesnt mean that wont change eventually. If we can scrape past the Shots then maybe the players will wake up later in the season when they realise what a bunch of wasters they are being. Things might come together if we can hang in there.

But I fear the league/play offs will soon be gone by then.

grr really wanted to goto this one, had my knuckle dusters polished and everything.. but i am on holiday so i cant :(

Reinforced underpants and a crash helmet would be of more use and a good pair of trainers to get away in of course.
