Post by: yeo on Sunday, August 17, 2008, 12:56:25
do the rubbish people know they are rubbish and just go on it to get on telly?

and the back stories

I mean using teenage suicides as a back storey for a bird from Bridgend, its almost as if Chris Morris is on the writing staff

It was kind of the ultimate crossover party wasn't it? Certainly made me take Prince Charles' warning about the dangers of genetic engineering a LOT more seriously. In the unlikely event they don't get a record deal, surely Clearasil will snap them up as poster boys?

Agree about the sob stories the other year one contestant kept banging on about her dad (now deceased) was the one who sent her application form in etc.  And that this song is dedicated to him, how can any judge go "well you've just crucified that song" after hearing that.  Think it saved her for a couple of weeks.
