As a few of you know I won an auction  at last years end of season dinner to be in this years team photo. I got some snaps here to post for you all to take the piss.  BTW The away shirts are lush. Was a quality day!

Can't say how much I bid, But I am pretty sure they are not using the one with me as Byrne is over on the right somewhere! Was pretty awesome I must say..

Ah I prance on the pitch with the players behind closed doors, not in front of a huge crowd making a bigger tool of myself :)

Should we read anything into that? Or is it simply a case of him having treatment for his injury?

Seems odd cos even injured players are normally in the team photo.

Dont think he can hardly walk yet so... I didn't even think to ask being quite honest.

I guess they chucked alot of the youngsters in because its been a few years since we had a team photo with that many players in it!!

Still, if its any consolation Gaz you're probably more likely to play this season than Pook.....should have had you in the final photo instead of him.

To be honest there was  a "show racism the red card" which we all haled up these signs picture taken, that one may be used on the stop racism day , I was beside Macnamee in that one so i can easily be edited out though as I was at the end haha :D

On Saturday Roberts wasin the Arkells Stand at about half way up.

He was able to cope with the steps just fine then.

In the gym earlier I caught HTV news or something like that and there were 3 men stood on the CG pitch wearing nothing but pants, and having their photo taken.

Was one of them you Gazzza?

What was that all about?

Mark Scott isn't in the team picture either. I thought he had a pro contract?

Maybe they're making one of those booklets of players that Larwood loves.

Probably continuing the Sloggi sponsorship. Wasn't it Sturrock (jr), Kaid and someone else in the programmes in their undies all last season?

To be fair though I suspect he is not at the CG everyday he is probably elsewhere doing rehab - although they could have asked him to attend the CG for the photo call.

The players were very cool actually. No problems at all. Something Ill neve forget was a good day!

Don't they look scruffy with all their different coloured boots on.

Did you know that John Barnes was the first footballer to wear white boots?

If I was manager my style would probably be one similar to a strict disciplinarian. I would insist on everyone wearing black boots and tucking their shirts in. and also I wouldn't want everyone jumping on the goalscorer when he's scored as I believe it risks injury.
